Learning is the foundation, but it's not the whole picture. He's taking risks by speaking out, and we have a responsibility to make sure his message isn't distorted or weaponized. That's how we protect him AND his mission.

It is the case of Ellen Greenberg, a school teacher, soon to be married found murdered with 20 stab wounds. The investigation was scarily done with tons of missed evidence that was so obvious a rookie could indentify. Her parents are still looking for the truth. Please help these people find answers for their beloved daughter.

Slave catchers were slave catchers. They did not have any police powers. They worked for the slave owners but they even were not so-called "private police" as they did not work for the public and could not legally arrest anyone. Plus they went after only slaves and anyone who helped out the slaves. But they were strictly forbidden by most of the slave owners to do anything beyond catching slaves and harassing anyone who helped out the slaves although a lot of them ignored that directive and rarely got punished by the slave owners for ignoring it.
Anyway the concept of policing was started in ancient Israel but the term "police" and its associated terms were coined in 1800s England in Scotland Yard along with the initial formalization of police (policy enforcers) and (policy enforcing) as we know it today in its current iteration.

Wrong. Slave catchers were not police. The judge was absolutely correct in what he said about how police and policing were introduced to the States. Before the introduction here or police and policing, the only law enforcement personnel we had were sheriffs and marshalls. And at the time, the military (mainly the army) had some policing powers that were rigidly defined and strictly enforced on the troops to carry out and if they acted outside of those boundaries, they were court-martialed and usually sentenced to death and executed for violation of conduct and duty.
