As a chick fil a worker I agree they’re a bit overpriced, but when you think about it, we HANDMAKE each shake for you. We put in the shake base, then pour the ice cream in, and put in flavoring (strawberry, cookie crumbles, etc etc) and mix it BY HAND for you. It takes us way longer to make a shake than a fountain drink and sometimes we end up holding up a whole drive they line for families that order like 8 shakes (it’s horrible when that happens lol) but yeah. Basically shakes are made with love and ice cream and shake base is REALLY expensive to buy so that’s the cheapest we can give them to you! That is 1$ profit and remember, you need to cover your expenses like eletricity and workers and maintenance. Home made is always better especially if you use the better ice cream. Blue bell vanilla, buy fresh strawberry cut them and freeze then. Add ice cream,!frozen strawberries, some milk and cool whip mix it up and literally chiefs kiss I started making milk shakes because our family LOVES the home made ones and it’s affordable and makes a lot! I get vanilla and add the flavor in so we can make different flavors my fav is strawberry and then peanut butter! I want to make a Nutella one next tho and try that :)
Anyways… here’s the easiest chocolate milkshake recipe! 😋 (u can use hand mixer/blender or the actual blender) u will not regret making this! - 2 spoons of Nutella (optional idk) - milk based on how much chocolate u put (ask ur parent idk) - 2 spoons of vanilla ice cream (optional) And blend blend ❤ DONE ENJOY UR MILKSHAKE IM LITERALLY DRINKING IT RN! ❤️😋

Home made is always better especially if you use the better ice cream. Blue bell vanilla, buy fresh strawberry cut them and freeze then. Add ice cream,!frozen strawberries, some milk and cool whip mix it up and literally chiefs kiss I started making milk shakes because our family LOVES the home made ones and it’s affordable and makes a lot! I get vanilla and add the flavor in so we can make different flavors my fav is strawberry and then peanut butter! I want to make a Nutella one next tho and try that :)
