You - half-heartedly: “She’s got a great voice” Me - enthusiastically screaming at you: “She has the BEST voice ever!” Her SEVEN decade career proves this EGOT winner has no peer. She has inspired the likes of Whitney, Celine, Mariah and countless others. The more you listen to her the more you’ll be convinced of her superior talent. 😁
An interesting approach this movie had. The inner dialogue versus the outer. It's a very good film. Streisand's public persona often overshadows her characters in film roles, but she really pulled it off in this movie. It is only recently that people have begun to appreciate this film for what it is.
You didn't start the fire...Expand your artistic knowledge... You'll be amazed at the talent, influence, and genuine power of movies, TV, entertainment and gifted performers that existed before the year 2000! I always knew and appreciated the things that came before me...
Imo, inarguably the GOAT. As they say, "better late than never," which certainly applies here because you haven't even scratched the surface of this amazing artist... Barbra doesn't just sing a song, she interprets lyrics, tells a story, and gives a song four-dimensional life. Hope you cover another of her's. Here's the closing number to Barbra's 1976 iteration of "A Star Is Born," imo, the best of the four, and one you can add to your list. Would be great if you happen to find the full film footage of this song without the stills incorporated, but this was the closest I could find. Watch Closely Now ruclips.net/video/ptWOynBBxgQ/видео.html And add to your list of musicals to watch the film that catapulted Barbra to massive stardom, "Funny Girl."
I've said it before...Barbra is considered to be the very best in the industry. No one has a combination of breathe control and expression like her. She's simply stunning.
Isn't it a great song.. You need to experience true songs of life.. Not artifical songs.. Then you will appreciate the best vocals and ranges and stories of her songs. Thanks for reactions..
If you want to hear another side of her, and if you don't mind a little disco, please react to Barbra duetting with Donna Summer on " No more tears (enough is enough) : ruclips.net/video/MKZ7boyUD0s/видео.html Ultimate divas duet !
A piece of sky has parts of other songs from earlier in the film so it doesn’t make as much sense unless you’ve seen the entire film and heard those earlier songs, like “papa, can you hear me?”.
So ludicrous how all the "reactors" tend to react to the same videos within a few weeks of one another, but pretend you've never seen the videos before.
22 seconds at full volume on an open vowel is almost impossible, but she made it look almost effortless!
She has the greatest voice of anyone and that's why she's the GOAT

The greatest singer ever! Glorious!
"Yentl" was the first movie starring a woman who also directed and produced it.
And co-wrote it.😁
Not quite. They are careful to always say 'First Big Studio film directed, produced and starring...."

I have never once gotten through this without face-down crying, missing my wonderful father. This was no exception.

Insane vocals - she may not be on my playlist but seriously no one matches that
Time to put her on that playlist! She’s just the greatest!
Fun? She's the greatest singer of all time!
Thank you for listening to Barbra. You might want to try Lara Fabian singing this from her Pure concert.

Sooo true!!!...plus" i've never heard of her"??? Really!?..they live on mars surely!
Wearing make-up...yes, that's clearly the whole point of the song. And, I think you said fun? Sorry, probably the last review I would watch.
This "make-up" comment he made was cringeworthy and ignorant
Michel Legrand le plus grand. French melody rules
She is portraying someone decades younger than her actual age in the movie. They needed to the make up.
