In memoriam: Apollo Helios 24 April 2017-23 May 2018, passed away due to to liver failure caused by polyomavirus (hence the dystrophic feathers and his inability to fly)
I love this video because it captures Apollo doing his “pick me up” thing, where he’d lower his head and raise his wings, flapping them if he was really excited or really wanted something.
Those little “wuh wuh” calls melt my heart.
I miss you so much my beautiful, scruffy baby.
