Thanks, about to try my first diorama, although I have a bit of relevant experience with model train setups as a kid. Just wondering how much I can find/use in the yard for free vs buying little plastic trees and “grass/dirt/sand”. I now know what static grass is!

Yes, plaster dust. Coarse sand is just to make surface more textured.
