It amazes me how Marta, even though she's currently wearing the character's wardrobe and all---looks different and feels different from Dona Marta she's playing. Her posture changes, the way she carries herself in this interview is nothing of Dona Marta, but when you watch the scenes with her playing the character, there's a huge difference. That tells you what a great actress she is. My God, I'm a fan.

There's a video of Marta not being too happy about what little contact on screen the producers allow with her and Alba.She want's much more,basically saying they are too afraid to show two women being in their words 'Too Intimate'.Marta said she wants to really kiss and put her hands under Alba's skirt.Let Marta direct,we'd get some real action.
No choice but to agree with her. The directors ARE being very picky with their intimate scenes, while they have no problem showing off in the hetero romances. Even in case of shoulder kisses the camera cuts to their backs. Just listen to Marta and give us something more natural! 😂

I think acting inlove with each other with the intimate scenes is so much easier when your leading lady is very beautiful like what they have, they got that as a plus. That they got paired with each other. That is quite lucky. Acting the part would be much smoother as the attraction can naturally be produce even when the actresses are just friends on set. It is professional, friendly, and also staying true to the characters they play. There has to be great trust between individuals in order to portray a couple IN LOVE with each other. Such intimacy is hard to fake if you don't like your partner on set. They are fortunate to be good friends.
Totally. But being too good of a friends can also be a negative. That was for example apparent in the Dune films between Zendaya and Timmy Chalamet where their romantic/intimate scenes felt awkward due to the weirdness of them having to kiss (etc.) a close friend
@@Teaspooncat men are different from us women. 2 women good friends in general have an easier time accepting platonic friendships no matter the awkward sexy-situation for the simplest fact that most of us women do NOT see friendship as a "consolation prize". Some of us will even choose it over our romantic relationship if it came to extreme situations where we are made to choose.(varies from each individual) but the point is that, when we are friends with other women, it is easier to deal with the awkwardness, contrary to most men who are driven by their stronger impulses as nature made them different from us that even their bodies blatantly show it, whilst we women can always hide it.

And this very convincing fakery is what makes up GREAT TALENT in cinema. Being able to make an impact to the film without necessarily suffering the intense and very real emotions within the storyline.
