I don't know how you can say its between jogging and sprinting. My players when sprinting, cannot get near the opposition when they do this. Its ridiculous how slow my players are

Nice video. It is TOO OP in my opinion. Especially the fact that stronger DEFs cant really push you off balance while people start abusing R1 runs. // ANother OP move this year > LT+RT flick, it is soooo fast and pushes the ball away so quickly that no defenders catch up really... Flicking it righ or left and sprint away.. > too OP for me as well. EA has to nerf it.
are you talking about L2+R2 and flicking right analog stick??
@@practiceyourart Yes, that combination gives a massive speed boost to a ball to a side direction . and its so quick that is almost impossible to read. it is quite effective to cut inside the box or break away from a opponent chasing you . But you have to have an open space , no opponent players in the area where you flick right stick with L2+R2 (I am on Xbox - LT +RT). THe thing is that you can do it while running on full speed with the ball.... so yeah. OP move

Looks like the defenders are over committing while speed bursting. And over jockeying while taking bad angles when defending.

You've got similarities and differences. Defending is a bit harder, pace slower, shooting from outside the box different... and a bunch of new gameplay features.
Am starting to feel like am the only one who started using this advanced sprint control in fifa 2022 and fifa 23. Trust me it was there!. It is overpowered this year

It's frustrating, my command seems not to respond to this. Some skills only work when I keep L3 pressed, some other times is using L2 others L1. It keeps changing from game to game. I mostly play seasons and is so much random.
I used to have the sane troubles in PS3 and it's the same with PS4.
Then I will have wining streaks where I just do the same things without effort and all runs good. And then all of a sudden it seems like I loose the ability to play

I like it b/c it’s more responsive than the R2 sprint in that it comes off right away. Also mix it with L1 dribbling.
Is it better to mix up with l1(strafe driblling) or L2 + R2 (agile dribbling)?
@@sriraamnadarajah7560 I think you could do either. I prefer using just L1 so I can hover my finger over R1. I’m not coordinated enough to use two different fingers for R1/R2 lol.

Players with the technical playstyle can controlled sprint even better, for example Messi and Debinha have technical+ playstyle. These kind of players make it even more meta

This feature has been in the game for years with analog sprint but most people just hold sprint down all the way or don’t understand the details of dribbling. This new R1/RB is more like training wheels.
Dribbling is like racing a car. You need to control different levels of speed depending on what your next manoeuvre is.

analog sprint made max sprint slower
I used analog sprint. This is different. The animations are different. Analog sprint was great for juking defenders but controlled sprint has that FIFA 16 feel to it, you can cut and advance on the pitch. You can't with analog sprint
Controlled sprint is plenty complicated already if you wanna use it properly, analog sprint is even more complicated
Simply put, just because a game has a mechanic does not mean it's worth it to use. Shooting in EA FC is pretty bad. Sure with green timing it's good but you shouldn't have to green time everything

I actually think this one is quite realistic, resembles the way players like Robben cut inside from the wing, with small fast steps and great ball control.
