Top 10 Winter 2024
1. Mashle op 2 (The best opening this season, I can repeat and listen to this song forever)
2. Bokuyaba (Very beautiful song and what a stunning visual, it's very pleasant to listen to when you are relax)
3. Saijaku tamer (Underrated, I'm glad that it's number 10 in your list. I hope more people listen to it and I can't find the official MV version of the opening the visual is stunning as well, it's the most relaxing and beautiful song this season the singer voice is so good that I'm impressed and it kinda remind me of journey of elaina op
4. Frieren op 2 (This sound so pleasant to listen to I mean it's yorushika. I definitely like it better than the first opening (both are good) but It suit the vibe of the show more and kinda more feel on this one)
5. One piece op 26 ( I am not watching one piece or other shonen show which has 100+. I mean action/shounen is not my favourite genre I watch one or two but not many. So athough I don't watch one piece, I still this song is good and best that I heard for one piece op other than movie) ado one the best
6. Akuyaku level 99 ( I like this song so much. The singer voice is so powerful and I can keep looping this while gaming. The one downside of this op is the visual)
7. Solo leveling ( I like sawano song it's always has some good sound on it and this one is no different although not the best but still very solid song)
8. Shangri la op 2 ( I saw many people always place this song in top 3, I mean it's good it's hype and that's why it is kinda a bit of messy I like some part of it but I also don't like some part of it and I like watching the anime so that's why place this at 8)
9. Apothecary Diaries op 2 (Very good song although I like the op1 is more memorable for me)
10. The wrong way to use healing magic (The most unique approach for an anime opening that's why it stand out for me for this season opening)
when you start watching one piece and you catch up to it you will have one piece higher

One piece cooked a 12 course meal and served it to me on a silver platter. Man Assu! is so fire (Mashle OP 2 Is also amazing, and Solo levelling is also great)

3. Frieren op 2 (well its yorushika, lovely voice, pleasant, and those guitar sounds, love it)
4. Shangri-la op 2 (not as badass like SiM or Survive Said The Prophet, but its still good)
5. Apothecary Diary op 2 (lovely)
6. One Piece op 26 (good)
7. Solo leveling op (not the best sawano hiroyuki song, but its still decent)

I know a lot of people don't think that way, but I don't find the solo leveling's opening special (the music), contrary to mashle for example. I bet that it will be in the top 3 (if not top 1) of the suscriber version.
Solo leveling op don't try to be something special, but it's still work
It all depends on personal taste. I love SL's opening a lot, i probably only put it behind Mashle and One Piece's.
@@Kuma_YT I believe people over hyped the involvement of Hiroyuki Sawano in OP making and expected another God tier song like Gravity Wall, Ninelie, aLIEz, XU etc.
Level is a good OP but comparing to above examples its still a grade lower.

Honestly I felt the same way and I expected way more from Sawano and some of the lyrics make me cringe but then it really got stuck in my head and now it's by far my most listened to op this season.

nuh uh, Assu absolutely deserves No. 1. Its debatable if Mashle op should come 2nd cuz shangri la frontier is just that good. Megumi Ishitani absolutely solos.

Edit: After making my own personal top 20 because 40 is too much, OP op 26 is at 4. It's a good song but its just too normal. Doesn't do anything that makes he headbang so hard I'd split a table. Yet despite being so normal it landed 4, which means a lot of the ops are weak.

Maybe some good anime came out in the winter, but their openings are mediocre...As for me, only the opening Frieran noted. Otherwise, only the top 11 are good.

I hate the Mashle OP so much, it deserves a high rank though (but lower than top 3) because it's a daring one but I think it's very overrated and cringe. Just my honest opinion.
Mashle deserved Top 1 and there is not even a contest.
Definitely a step down from Autumn 2023, but that's too high of a bar. Most ongoing anime got worse openings.
Sengoku Youko, Ishura and Ragna Crimson too low imo, specially when compared to some of the top 10-20.

The mashe op is good, but it’s not THAT good. If it was last year, it’d be pretty low on my top 40 list honestly. To say it’s not even close is insane to me, but hey I guess we all have different tastes.

Ao no exorcist have maybe nothing special but it's only a personal musical preference, 11/10 and 9 are usually not my thing so for me it's already a very good placement
