Thai here. Whenever you negotiate the price with Tuk Tuk or Taxi (you shouldn’t with the Taxi since it is metered) just cut their price in half. They already marked up price for you to negotiate, so go lower. If they can’t, just walk away. You will find the one who accept your rate. Keep your camera rolling, just in case they change their price at the destination. They do to Thai customers too but at the lower fee. I never like them but sometimes you have no choice. Enjoy your vacation and be safe. BTW, when crossing the street; always look BOTH ways no matter which direction the cars are going.

The price should be around the same or a little bit more expensive.
