If you are looking for a killer welder, I would highly recommend a millermatic 220. It is a fantastic multipurpose easy to use welder.
I self taught myself tig welding. At first its a pain and you want to give up but just keep trying. I learned out the gate on alum. Then picked up steel pretty quick!
Highly recommend the Vulcan welders from Harbor Freight, I have both their tig and mig and they work amazing.
Get a MillerMatic 250 and you can weld anything anyway! 3 welders in 1

Dont do it, i have the miller multimatic machine and its great as a mig but without high frequency start for tig it sucks, scratch to start is the worst thing ever invented, get a dedicated mig and a dedicated tig you will be much happier in the long run trust me...
Everlast mts lightening 275 is everything you need. Better than the miller multi process by leaps and bounds.

One thing I’m surprised the workers didn’t mention, thermal activation for fire suppression is huge if you get knocked unconscious. Button or pull cable won’t do anything if you’re out cold

Great detail and insight man! Time lapse is looking good and a great filler!!! You may have to turn that first bay into the “fab/creating area” it’s nice to have a a space dedicated to just that instead of having to pull tools/tooling out to do something especially if it takes twice as long to set up as it does for you to create. Great work for a quick video! Keep up the hard work!!!

i was recently looking a buck seats and was originally going to get an OMP WRC or HTE, but ended up with a MOMO Daytona because its slightly cheaper and has a Halo

GRANT!!! Dont do the automatic suppression system, ask Mike Essa about it if you dont believe me, not worth it man they are known to go off on hot track days and its a bloody mess to clean up...

Stick with the manual release it's more reliable than electric buttons which can fail in a crash or short and trigger when you don't want them to
4:50 a lot of people lately dont like the auto ones, cuz they go off if they get to hot, so to high of bay temps and bam, that was jimmy's reason for not using it in his pro car
you should probably replace the tires on both bandsaws when you replace the blades

Only use cable or button for the fire system.. ive seen the thermal go off when on a hot day with lots of laps so everything is hot..
