Lol before the tank meta, I use to troll by taking tank build on lancelot cause I was really bad but before I knew it, tank lance somehow became popular
i saw the clip by ram sw on ytb: tank lance, i tried this build and realized that lance tank were not as bad as we thought, this clip is very old (2021) 😂😂
@@thomasshelby_official I simply used tank build to jump between enemies and dash out and troll around their jungle and see them trying to catch up. It was really fun though🤣

Tankcelot is strong in both early and late game. It can deal huge amount of damage and sustain a lot. But the nerf can be effective.

I usually play Hybridcelot
Guardian helmet&Thunder belt
Then I use Hunter strike/War axe and endless battle( sometime switch it out with rose gold or immortality based on my enemy heroes)
I always use 2 offensive items and 3 defensive. I deal quite good damage. But of course it could be better. But having less health is way too risky for me. Because when my team is down. I would always run around the lord to steal it. And almost 70% of the time. I survived and steal the lord. But ill try using 3-4 offensive item and 1-2 defensive item in my next match. Ill see if the risk is worth it
even with saber, rose gold and immortality can be enough to survive. rose gold and hunter strike are your best friends if you want to escape without byilding defense

I had the same exact thought (dmg good for soloq, tankcelot good for party), and here you are talking about it as a lance main yourself
Also what i have noticed after getting like two damage items your farming speed also increases

Isoya's question has been answered. Though I already knew cause I also play solo and it's hard to play tankcelot but I always play him under some circumstances like check my team mates matches before the match start if I see more than 3k matches then I trust them. Still got a 75% wr BC of that😂 but most of the time I go for alpha jungle why use a hero that needs mechanic when u can press button and get insta kill.

I agree with this completely. I have seen many, many games where the enemy team intentionally ignores tankcelot and walks right past him, they knew how to prioritise their damage to our mm and not our fodder tankcelot. Not only is it not easy to burst down an mm without damage, walking straight into Lance's face throws their attack off and they can't aim properly. Please stop using Tankcelot in soloQ
Yes your 100 percent right, tankelot just doesn't become reliable, nor does he does any damage, I js straight up ignore him
tankcelot is for securing objective, also act as an overall team fight disrupter

I am a solo player and a tankcelot user and yes damage Lancelot is better but tankcelot is so annoying. I just focus on their midlaner and gold laner. Midlaners are easier to kill that's why when I can't burst their gold laner I run through the mages to get a minus one advantage. The good thing with Lancelot is you can disrupt the enemies positioning for your your team to initiate properly
Tank lance is exactly as you said, with 5 men and when facing tanky enemies. Much similar to ling, who's 5 men exclusive these days... Only solution for gus brax picks is dmg lance😂

yes i totally agree had some jg lanclots with tank build who r basically useless , in solo Q dmg for jg ,mages and mm is the most important , the funny part is the player was really good with lancalot but he couldnt even finish kills
I mean its is for 5 men gameplay since you trusted the gold lane to carry at the end while you carry early to mid game,since the fuction of tankcelot is getting objective at late game

U r really wrong tank build in solo q is dead end, look at the tournament teams tank Lance always needs teams to ambush even a single player, the only time u deal damage is when u have level difference, and tank lance with low damage be ready for trash talks from ur team i doubt they will even start taking ur buff and trolling u
to me tankcelot is still better even solo,because you are tanky enough for objective, because not always your roamer is helping you turtle or lord so being tanky helps you at having a change to run around the turtle/lord and try to steal it

Just go semi tank, its just not worth it sacrificing the banefit of tankcelot in objective contest, when im playing him i usually go molten war axe guardian endless thunder belt and cursed helmet, it has enough damage to solo kill squishy hero yet it still tanky enough that you can take objective relatively easy, and in late game i usually sell cursed helmets to more defensive or damage item depends on the scenario, lance damage is really strong on early mid game but its so easy to blunder

I used to be a Lancelot main, the first time i play MLBB is when Lancelot was about to realeased in like 2017 i was pushing from warrior to Legend using Lancelot with Damage build but Moontoon is ruining him imo. it's not because he is weak (though he is way weaker than he used to be, especially the ult the immune is like a joke now can be countered too easily ) but he is just not as effective anymore his speciality was his Immunity and agilty, now the immune is almost none except for the 2nd skill and it's only like 1 second, now everytime i want to ult...i'm dead i just can't because every new heroes which also a Meta has a CC or stunt abilties, like Moontoon is so stupid and dumb they can't think of anything original other than "let's just add CC/stunt ability to this new hero"
there are just newer and way better assassins like remember i said i pushed from Warrior to Legend using Lancelot? Well... After the latest season reset I pushed from Epic to Mythic using Aamon just like in 4 days😅 like wtf it's like walking in the park literally way least effort no fast hand no sweaty hands try hard like when using lancelot yet with way better result which i didn't manage to do with Lancelot i probably will need more than a month to reach Mythic using Lancelot because of how frustrating, tiring, and exhausting it is to optimize the damage you have to put the triangle in the middle you have to spam dash to optimize the passive skill, you have to "predicted" To use the ult, but With aamon it's just a no brain ranked gameplay but suddenly you reach mythic in like 3 days, totally a balance game experience according to Moontoon.
Aarlot, Helcurt , aamon, Joy is just a better option for assassin ofc not forgetting the assaasin legend Fanny.
now in the latest update his first skill is getting nerfed again 😂 he is so bad rn im truly regret buying the skins for him, well can't say i didn't expect that from moontoon they always nerfed a hero with alot of cool and pricy skins.

I feel like im not good player using Lancelot, because it's really hard to use lance damage, only use lance tank in mythical glory solo q, its easy to stole objectives like 1 vs 5 and the MVP xd. I want learn how use lance damage but its really hard.

Yeah at last the Lance god had spoken. This is what I've been waiting for. I am so confused why and how Lancelot tank build works and now I understand it is just for 5 man team. They said Lancetank is for pushing turret but still why jungle role? Jungler are not meant for push I think.
But still I'm impressed with your retribution timing and skill 1 you don't hesitate to use it. I don't know why I always safe it for later but then I die regretting the I didn't use it at hero(retri) or skill 1 to escape from death.
its not for pushing its for objectives like turtle or lord cuz it's so easier to contest them ,also with dmg lance you lose half hp just doing the turle unlike tank build.
in the end if ur sidelanes still sck with 3 turtles you got, then definitely you shouldn't go tankcelot on soloq
Tankcelot is still painful with little to no damage item because his passive increase all kind of damage dealt by him. True damage from retribution, red buff and thunderbelt will be increased. Cursed helmet too

I tried tank lancelot a few times and failed to carry every game. Maybe it's just not for me.
But still, if your team is feeding the enemy, with tank lancelot you have no chance of carrying, with damage build you at least can try to take out their damage dealers
