I think it was just some technical difficulties due to the fact that it was the opening day. wasn’t as bad as the opening day of the very first Jaws ride at Universal Studios, Florida. Before they gutted it, and redid the whole thing. I remember even in 2001, the Universal Studios, Florida version broke down quite a bit. I remember taking a friend on it at night and one shark didn’t work.

The shark is kinda malfunctioning. The shark did not appear in the boat house, when shark biting a cable the mouth did not open

the biting the cable scene is the todays problem like the 2024 problem the shark mouth did not thrash and bash and did not open and closes its mouth
