    This music is Moroccan and only Moroccan don't try to put any other countries in this especially from north Africa, please respect this people and their heritage without trying to mutilate the history

      @@SuliyemanBouboul wikipedia is not a reliable source anyone can edit an article they were an ethnicity but they are not anymore they adapted and mixed within the Moroccan society an ethnicity have a different language or religion do they have a different religion or language no they don't stop calling them an ethnicity it's just a different culture like many cultures in morocco stop spreading lies

    People just want to be Moroccans and steal our culture.
    We know our culture and heritage is so rich and diverse, no other place in the world has this diversity and richness like Morocco

    And just because some is a Gnawa musician doesn’t mean they are from the Gnawa ethnic group, when the original Gnawa were taken to Morocco they had their culture stolen. I come from a family of hereditary Gnawa musicians, my fathers grandparents on his dads side were slaves from Sudan and his mothers parents were slaves from Ghana

      Gnawa is found in Algeria and Tunisia. Gnawa people ancestors were originally slaves brought to North Africa.

      @@user-jk3ic1lh1q Gnawa are indeed from enslaved Africans. This is what the Gnawa themselves say and they are mainly from the Bambara tribe. There is even a well known Gnawa band called “oulad bambara” which in English means “sons of Bambara” and the Gnawa are known for keeping some of the beliefs of the their ancestors.

      Gnawa est une musique marocaine inscrite au nom du Royaume Chérifien du Maroc comme patrimoine culturel matériel et immatériel marocain à l'UNESCO. Ce sont les Sultans marocains qui ont conquis l'Afrique et ramené ces africains qui sont maintenant complètement marocains.       hamza fahmi I never said that and also my father is from Morocco (Taroudant in the south) and he is a Maalem and he’s descended from the Gnawa people (he’s black and comes from a hereditary Gnawa family. I know that Algeria stole it like they steal everything else so maybe re read what I said 👍🏽
