      Thanks! I put about 5k miles on it this past summer/fall with no problems. I do have a problem with the forks bouncing alot though. I hope to fix that before warm weather!

      Thanks man! We do live in a beautiful rural area and I'm glad to have the bike. Wish the circumstances had of been different for getting it but if it had to be, I'm glad to have gotten it.

    I just found your channel when you were working on the Wing. I love your bike and really love your video's. I also have a 1500 Wing. Got paralyzed last year and could not ride it so it hasn't been started in 1.5 years. Need to get it going soon.

      Sorry to hear of your paralysis. Those Wings are a lot of fun! Best wishes!

    I had to cut my windshield down for stress cracks which lowered it. So your shield looks huge too me!

      It IS huge! My bro-in-law shopped in the Big and Tall section of the Tulsa catalog! Best I recall the Tulsa windshield was the tallest you could buy at the time.

    I got a Ram ball mount for the clutch/brake that works OK except it blocks part of the mirror when the Quad Lock is attached. Maybe a clamp like you have for the camera? Just a suggestion but a vent in the windshield is a great addition, especially at lower speeds.

      Scott from GoldwingDocs sent me a link to one from Ram Mounts the other day which just came. I had to shorten the bolts and the spacers that came with it but finally got the reservoir and brake to tighten back down. Kind of a pain to make it work but it should do the job... I think.
      It's about like the one the camera is on (which use to be a GPS mount on my ATV).
      My old '99 Goldwing had the vent and man I sure do miss that! You're right...at low speeds it gets mighty hot behind that tall Tulsa shield!
      Thanks!

      @@LifeInTheGap You can add a vent too.

    Hello, do you have a link to your go pro mount

    • @LifeInTheGap
      @LifeInTheGap  Год назад

      The mount is actually for a UTV 2" tube. I've had the extension for many years, so I'm not sure where I got it but rammount.com has pretty much anything you would need or would at least give you an idea.
