    That is actually the correct way to install decking boards, the grooves on one side are to allow the underside of the boards to quickly dry out after rain and prevent rot. Installing them groove side up is just wasting money cos in a few years they will start rotting.

      Really?? I’d seen so much decking with the grooves facing up and it was putting me off to be honest as I wasn’t keen on how it looked! Pure luck we did it correctly then 😃

      @@lauralouisetaylor2726 many people think that the grooves are for anti slip but not the case.
