I think it all depends what happens when Europe switches to online visa like Canada and the United States does. It might become more difficult for people who bought citizenship by investment to get visas. Of course no one knows at this time. But you know you got to live for the moment and if you're happy with it, then just be content. Dear Sir,
You are not a citizen of the whole of the Organization of East Carribean States. You are a citizenship in St Kitts & Nevis, and because St Kitts & Nevis is a member of the Organization of Eastern Carribean States, you can live in the other member states, but you are not a citizen of the other member states, like for example St Lucia.
I have a British passport and Saint Kitts and Nevis passport because I was born in st kitts and I live in England!! I love it!
Lucky you😊 Marry me baby
Rafael, let me assure you (as a Caribbean Citizen). The Saint Kitts Passport is a GREAT Passport. You made the RIGHT Decision. I am very happy for you. There is NOTHING TO REGRET. All the best
Can you explain?
@@EnderViBrittania OK. So. First of all, St. Kitts and Nevis Provides Visa Free Access to over 100 countries. It's one of the best passports in the Caribbean. The country itself is Tax Free for those of its Citizens and Residents who live there full time. It is part of CARICOM and its Sub-Regional Body, the OECS that allow for a limited level of free movement throughout the Caribbean. Lastly, from a climate perspective, if you live in St. Kitts full time, you get sunny weather all year round and you don't have to adjust your clock for daylight saving time.

Hello Sir, I have a question on the citizenship by investment program in saint Kitts and Nevis; if I invest 200k in a property to get the citizenship, can I still borrow money against this property assuming that I paid cash for it, are there financing options available for these types of investments?

Hello, thank you for the quality content that you offer, could you make a video on Monegasque citizenship and tax benefits in Monaco please?
Pretty much impossible to get it unless the prince vouches for you, you can get residence and tax benefits but not citizenship
I think you're right about that. And I know also that you have to renew your residence permit every year and you have to conduct the interview in French. It's not a problem for me growing up in Quebec but they do require you to speak French at least on a rudimentary basis. You also have to show assets every time you renew your residence permit. If you can't, they will politely show you the exit door which would be probably to France.
You can be any EU (besides French) citizen to reside & avoid taxes in Monaco, assuming your business is generated in a non-tax jurisdiction as well.
@@FinancialAdvisoryUSA but the cost of the real estate in Monaco is off the charts. Like a 100 square meter apartment is around 5 million euros, and not a fancy one! The place is really tiny they really check to make sure you're there 180 days. I think you would go crazy living there. And unless you had around 50 million or so, you wouldn't get along with any of the people there likely. It's normal to pay 50 euros for a breakfast! I don't think there's any place in the world as expensive as Monaco.
@@torontovoice1You pay one way or the other. Either expensive real estate and no tax or half off real estate in France and tax. You can also live in St. Kitts with cheap real estate and no tax but spend $2k euros each time you want to go shopping elsewhere.
"99% of my net worth is in crypto" Oh Boy
That doesn’t mean it’s in a shitcon, it could be in stablecoins
Think of the citizenship fee as your income tax in the US. If you want to lower your income tax, it's well worth it.

St Louis is cheap
I moved and have lived in Europe for almost 20yrs. About 10yrs ago, I became a citizen and got my passport. I am strongly debating renouncing the US passport as I no longer really feel American. It is such a hassle as I have to file taxes in two different countries, even though, I aven't worked/lived there for 20yrs and don't even have a bank account there. If I visit the US, I have to use a US passport, and when I come home, have to come in on my EU passport, thus traveling on two passports. The things holding me back are financial. I was told that it cost 10k $in order to renounce? Have the money in the bank in €, but was saving that for an apt. Plus, having to go to court in order to do it. Seems like a lot of work. But, who knows, maybe I'll just pull the trigger. Curious, are your reasons for renouncing purely financial?
My best friend had a US Passport and its hard to give up this passport. I mean you must give a fee of 2000 $. No other Country (as far I know) in the World do that.
@@KEITGAMER Britain charges a fee too, but its much easier to renounce, they will not try to block you or make you attend a court, once you are gone though you can NEVER get it back

I became an EU citizen a year ago and I still want to keep my US citizenship as an insurance policy in case Russia decides to expand their war. I don't really care about doing a US tax return as I pay no US taxes plus I get a tax refund for my kids.
@@krastycz1810 I don't have an insurance policy in the US. And it would cost too much. In the EU, my medical/meds are extremely cheap compared to the US. I am nearing retiring and don't have children, so not a problem. After 17yrs(now) of filing twice and paying two accountants is getting old. I can't ever see myself going back to live in the US. That being said, I live in Brussels, and maybe a bit further removed from Russia than where I presume you are. Of course, you do what's best for you and your family.
Have fun in Romania. I worked with a more than a few Romanians and they were the coolest people ever.
Awesome good to know, thank you for telling me!

That being said, what you say about citizenship by investement makes sense.
And your net worth is? I think the man knows what he's doing with his life.

Hello, is there some exit tax on your crypto (held under your personal name, not in your LLC) when you go from EU country and setup your base in DUBAI? Thanks
Thanks for this information. Can you help out by telling which agent we can use to get St Kitts citizenship? Would be very grateful for that.
which is better citizenship by investment, St. Kitts or Dominica?
Great video!
Just had a couple of questions out of Curiosity.
1. Given that St. Kitts is part of the Commonwealth if you needed some help from an Embassy would you try to contact the closest St Kitts mission or go straight to the U.K. Embassy?
2. To renew the St. Kitts passport would you need to send it to St. Kitts or to their closest Embassy?
1 - Go straight to the UK embassy, they will help you
2 - At their closest embassy no problem
How much does it cost to renew st Kitts passport
Any notion that the British Embassy would "help" you.....please. Be realistic. They offer zero consular assistance to British citizens abroad and membership of the Commonwealth means nothing.
@@stephenogbadu4623 $361 as of today. The expense is acquiring. Once you have it its smooth sailing.
The renewal seems with in the range of other Western country passport renewals.

What about going back to Puerto Rico just for short family visits? How hard will it be for you to get a tourist visa once you renounce?
If you renounce US citizenship for tax purposes, good luck getting a visa
Are St. Kitts and Nevis new citizens allowed to change legally their names?
Thank you for such amazing information.
I like how optimistic you are about the potential of your financial growth but still sounds a bit weird that you are trying to let go of your US passport prematurely, i mean look at Eduardo Saverin who renounced U.S. citizenship right ahead off mega facebook IPO - he avoided taxation right before cashing out when the money was in-front of him.. that's a smart move.. but what you are suggesting now is just bizarre
It’s better to be years early than a day late. The US tax reporting burden is real and inconvenient for an expat too.
How many passeports do you have?
Me I am fortunate to have 2 (France and Canada)
As the world unfairly cracks down on CBI, getting in early is useful. I'm happy you got yours while you still can
You made the RIGHT decision dude!
@wealthy Expat can I apply for a US or Canada visa with St kirt passport bought by an investment?
Can I get the citizenship before paying the full amount 150k by means of loans? or i need to complete paying the whole amount to get access, even if i pay it off 100%, how long will it take to get my hands on the passport?
quick question. What you ganna do if St Kitts start to tax you as well ?
What are the sources suggesting European countries may switch to citizenship based taxation?
biometrics is the problem. Once you cross a border with one passport you biometrics is stored forever. Even if you never crossed a border, when you use a cellphone or internet, your data is stored forever. But anyway having a second password is interesting.
Kind of weird to think you are renouncing your US citizenship and becoming a Sudo British citizen, the UK will accept your passports in Embassies consulates and help as if you were one of their own
I think given up your citizenship of a major country such as the US is foolish and counter productive. I am from the uk and l would never renounce my citizen for tax or any financial reason. Nor should it be allowed. I remember when british citizens needed evacuating from Syria by the British navy, you can never put a price on that type of help.

Rafael, I have a question. Are there any Citizenship By Investment Programmes in South America (The MERCOSUR Countries)? I would love to have Citizenship By Investment Passports from CARICOM, Turkey, The EU and MERCOSUR.
Not really, you can get Paraguayan and Uruguayan citizenship but those require you to live there and learn the culture and language, its not so easy anymore
@@WealthyExpat OK, thank you. I guess I would have to use the Turkish Passport as my defacto MERCOSUR Passport since it has excellent visa free travel to all of Latin America.
Cape Verde has CBI for 200k. Portuguese speaking countries only need 1 year residence in Brazil for mercosur passport
You can get Paraguayan residence super easy though. The amount of money you need to deposit is $2000 or less and you get full residence.
No, but you can get residence by investment, which will eventually lead to citizenship.

Hola Rafael do you have any info on getting citizenship based on your career. For example if I’m a doctor in the US. And a country let’s say Dominica needs doctors they’ll give me citizenship for free just because of my career.
Canada has an extreme shortage of doctors, and it would be extremely easy to get a job in Canada which would lead to a permanent residency and citizenship in 5 years. Can you take the cold and the high taxes? If so, jump in your car and make your way across the border.

Do St Kitts and other citizenship by investment countries help citizens out in crises like evacuation or quickly replace lost passports?
Oh yeah absolutely. If you get into trouble, just tell them you want counselor services from the St Kitts and Nevis counselor service. Where are they? Where are their embassies? What political clout do they have? Is it the same as calling the US consulate for the Canadian consulate or the French consulate? I think not

Question... I hear the EU is considering banning the buying of citizenship. Also given the conflict in Eastern Europe, is buying a European citizenship a flawed decision?
Yes, they are and it cannot come to soon for this debacle that will ending hurting the natural born citizens of these citizenship by investment countries.
These people will then realize that they spend all this money and their second passport is not worth even wiping their ass with when they visit the toilet
It would be a reason to quickly get it, if you are interested. If it does not escalate to third world war Western Europe will be mostly fine.
@@Toreadorification they can't ban you because as soon as you land in the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis its out of the Jurisdiction of the EU. its a defacto autonomous UK protectorate and part of the commonwealth of nations defended by the British, there's nothing stopping you from applying outside of the EU's borders just do it from the UK ...honestly what are they going to do? haha

Hi Rafael great videos.. You said your 99% net worth is in crypto. Do you provide any crypto based consulting as well?
No but check out my friends Crypto Jack and AM Crypto they're great at that
The US hates for us to disconnect. My crypto currency is growing too.
And the US punishes you when you disconnect by limiting you to two or three weeks a year that you can visit the US for ten years. I know this because Terry Gilliam, famous for all of the Monty Python films, renounced his US citizenship and he mentions that he is limited to x number of days he can visit the US!
he is a British citizen , so he is able to visit up to 90 days/year . but if someone renounce their US citizen even if born in the US they have no right to visit the US , the government can deny you entry for any reason .
So I have a question, does it mean that it’ll be possible to live in Canada and pay zero taxes as you’ll use your passport info from st kits and navis to file all your income ? Thank you
Absolutely not. Taxation is based on your residence, not the citizenship you claim.
