CINE Webinar: "Understanding Bias: The Importance of Skilled Detection and Responding"

In an increasingly global and diverse world, we need more practical and experiential, yet engaging and safe, ways to learn to detect and respond to bias. The goal of this presentation is to describe the ubiquitous nature of bias in our lives, from biased comments made about others based on their group membership, to biases that affect the accuracy of our decisions and the quality of our research. In addition, participants will practice detecting and effectively responding to bias as it is a valuable skillset for anyone wanting to be a global researcher or leader.
