About Face makes one of my favorite foundations of all time. The longer I wear it, the better and more natural it looks. I'm also very fond of their eye paints and fractal eye glitter.

Hi Mary ❤ I don't wear shimmers on my eyelids because all of them crease and look awful (add to it my eyelids are oily). I mostly wear a light cream color satin along with whatever mattes I'm wearing for the day. Glad to see you pop up right before the end of my shift 😊

Hey Mary! I got busy being lazy and forgot to check for your video!😂 I’ve been using that Clinique mascara for years but I decided to try the IT OG mascara. I just finished Loreal Voluminous OG and wasn’t that impressed. I know you have to love red nail polish. I just bought OPI’s Coca-Cola Red and I love it. I’m wearing it today. If you’ve never tried it, it’s the exact color of the red on a coke bottle.

Hey Mary;). Loved seeing your grwm. That frosty white shadow was something else!!!!😂😂😂. The foundation would be great with a summer tan. I gave tubing mascaras a chance (everyday) and I really dislike it. The only thing good was an easy wash off. I'm back to loreal. But, will use it on my bottom lashes/no smudge. Just didn't do anything for my upper lashes. I have your Blessed pallet;). Beautiful colors. I was a little skeptical about the green eyeliner but it looks great on you!! I thought the concealer looked also good. I even thought the shimmer eye shadow looked good on you after you got it on but I do think that it not gonna last. Curious to see how it turns out for you!!!

I tried to get the Ulta complexion crush but they didn’t have my color in store or online. I asked about it in store and was told the Ulta line is being redone, so hmmm? Never tried any Juvia’s place makeup. Right now I’m on a makeup no buy for at least a few months. Just need to use down some stuff. Thanks for the video. Always fun to see you try on and experiment with things I haven’t seen or tried. Be well.

Mary, I absolutely adore about face ! They are reasonably priced and their liquid eyeshadow is so amazing! They have some bold colors but also neutral colors too.I love the liquid lipstick too! And they have a click up glossy stick that smells (and tastes) so amazing! I’ve tried the cream blush and it’s good too! I haven’t tried the eyeliners so I’m so glad your trying them! Thanks for all your great videos! Love and prayers to you my friend!

Glad to hear your review of the About Face liner! Been curious about the brand, which was developed by the singer Halsey who does all her own stage makeup. I enjoy some of her songs, though she can get very dark with her lyrics and use more F words than I can handle. But there's no questioning her musical talent. Nice to know her liner formula is good!
Actually my video this week is a whole face of About-Face! All that I know about Halsey is that Mel loved her music and she sent me a video once singing one of her songs AND somebody had once told her that she looked like her and I disagreed LOL

I liked what I got enough that I went ahead and purchased a whole face of that line. It’s not here yet, but I can’t wait to try it. It just thrills me that you love that palette so much. I whittled my ending and my beginning way down to see if my stats would improve.

Hi Beautiful! Just want you to know I received a Clinique High Impact mascara today in a gift bag and it is the mascara bomb for me!! It thickens perfectly, doesn’t flake or smudge and I love it more than the Tarte tubing mascara or the Lancôme Idole mascara. Those are both very good, but this Clinique is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’m so glad you showed it in this video or else I wouldn’t have known about it. Chef’s kiss……muahh❣️ Love ya 🤗🥰

I never tried anything by Juvia’s place which is rare for me as I’ve tried almost everything. i’ve been basically wearing Charlotte Tilbury‘s flawless finish as my foundation and it’s been working for me.i have had more people say they don’t believe my age and one woman said oh you are a very young widow and I said uh no I’m 69 and older then red dirt. 😍

@@catmama54 I’m going to be 63 but my body says 90 as well. I wonder how long my body will hold up in the condition it is in. Only the Lord knows so I press on each day the best I can. I’ve been horribly sick for 2 weeks now. Missed a full week of work and scraped by with the help of my youngest daughter (41 years old) the second week. My husband and I own a small feed mill so flexibility is a blessing that makes it do-able. Enough rambling about my aches and pains. Have you ever shared your story in whole to Mary? I know Mary truly understands living with pain. This has been a comfort to me so often. I know you lost your husband (makes me feel sad) and I’ve gathered from your comments you are suffering physically but I’ve never felt it was my place to pry. But I bet your story would comfort others who have pain. I always look for you in the comments as I enjoy what you have to say. May tonight bring a small amount of peace and a bit of sweet sleep. One thing I know is God is always good. He carries me through each day. I always tell people that God gives me just enough strength each day for me to realize He has gotten me through but not so much that I begin to think I make it to the end of each day under my own strength and power. Couldn’t do life without Jesus. I’m going to pray for you as soon as I send this off to you. ❤️

I also have rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, and very bad neck and back. Since losing my husband, I sold our home in Florida and I moved to North Carolina to live near my sister, and I went from a nice home to a little apartment. but I’m having a hard time living alone because my body isn’t in the best shape. I’m sorry that you’ve been suffering so. I hope you feel better. I’m a big Believer in prayer and I know if not for God I wouldn’t have survived last year.and, I’m truly blessed that my stepdaughter helped me with everything. My sister and her family help me. I miss my husband with all my heart. I miss my 18-year-old cat who I lost first before my husband. I’m sending prayers for you too I sure hope you feel better. Getting older is hard but if you have your health, you’re fortunate. Mary suffers with her back and I have been suffering with my back for years. I’m not a candidate for surgery because of my lupus. i’ve been dealing with severe back pain for some time now. But every day I get up and go about my business try to get through from one day to the next. I have good moments too when I’m with my sister and her family and I try to enjoy life and I still like to laugh.💕🙏

Hi Mary, hope you're having a great Sunday. You need to try more from "About face" the owner is Halsey a huge singer in the pop culture.. looked it up.. I'm 72 , I had no idea who she was. lol. Her foundation went viral, it's my favorite foundation, love it! I've tried them all , high end to drug store, and this one is great, and It's only $22.

Yep, they'll get old, assuming they live that long. Not everybody does - a dear friend of mine didn't. I'm also 62 and glad to still be above ground.
On an unrelated note, reviews on the Ulta site say that the Complexion Crush foundation runs dark.

Hi Mary I’ve never committed before but I tried the frosted eye makeup from Ulta and tossed it I’m 73 and it made my eyelids so cracked and dry it looked like a lake in a drought. Not good for the morale 😂😂. I also felt that way about their mascara. O. The other hand I loved the lipstick and I also purchased 2 😂😂. I will look into Juvia’s concealer and About Face foundation

I can't stand how certain metallics will show up as a silvery white on my eyelids versus pink or whatever color it is supposed to be.
I guess I wasn’t paying attention that it was a duo Chrome when I got it. I think that the duo chromes look good on my hand as a swatch, but they never looked that way on my eyes.

Hi Mary! I've never had much luck with Clinique mascara..it makes my lashes look weird..but I finally got the new panorama mascara & I use it with the loreal primer & I really really like it! I have 2 use my lash comb here & there but it might be close to my favorite combination other than monsieur big & cils booster..have you tried kebi lipstick from juvias place? It's my favorite color from them..

Too bad the foundation was the wrong shade. I really enjoy the formula amd it lasts really well on my mature combo skin. My shade is fair neutral.
