This defence worked really well till July 22nd update because now towers and watchtowers can no longer be close to castle and the balloons can just fly to the enemy base in 10 seconds. I hope they revert that back

One time i was in an islands map game and i decided that it would be a good idea to recreate the same defenses the germans had on D-Day,and it somehow worked, the walls stopped the enemy from attacking me further and the watchtowers killed them,and the naval mines got rid of the battleships fast,bad strategy,but for some reason it worked

The outer defences can get wrecked by trebushaes (idk how to spell it) bcs they have longer range
Yea it works until a full team of catapults comes in.This game is very fun because you have to think about all the different ways to attack and defend.Also love the bro keep it up.

Make the defense better by getting longbows inside the defense for more firepower,
I had to fight this once, the defense was so good but I built my barracks really close and make a bunch of long ranged seige weapons to get rid of it, he thought he’d die after a bit and just sold the castle
Yeah I think long range units are a weakness to this layout, but I don't think there is anything that you could do to defend against that

Good castle base but i can use longbowers to snipe some building
I think they nerfed longbowers with the latest update and now their range isn't big enough anymore
@@cheeseronian13q knigths and longbowers combo migth be good
You forget about trebush(biger catapult).
The problem is that there is no real way to defend against them with buildings, you have to fight them with units of your own
You should figure out the meta way to defend against a load of knights.
When I made this video Knights were not that good, only a few days later they got buffed.
I may make a updated version of this tho!

They nerfed this strategy a bit, you now can't place Towers that close anymore 😢

Now this not perfect defence because while you are do defence you will defeat by 15 knigts and even you survive on start you will be destroyed by army in balloons because they can fly over mountains🤯sand it is a suprise)))

On most maps there are only 1-2 directions from which enemies can attack
