I have a 2ds with a broken charging port which fell inside the system ,so the 2ds works but theres no way to charge it , any ways to charge other than using the port?
I am not sure there is, you would need to get those ports fixed or replaced at a place where they are knowledgeable with 2ds, they should be able to fix the ports. That is possibly the only way to fix it from this point.
Yeah GameStop doesn't sell wireless charging bases anymore. And I bought a brand new base but neither that nor my old one works. I don't even want my 3ds charged fully, just enough for a system transfer to my new 3ds XL. But it doesn't charge at all.
Thanks for making this video. I tried the needle technique to bend the port down, that didn't work. Buying second hand 3ds docking station now online, hoping this will work. Thanks.
Turtle B I do apologize and there probably is a good reason for why it does not work, it could be the charging dock that doesn’t work or the charging cord is broken or the 3ds has two electrical outlets that seem to not work. And again it may be one of those reasons.
If you are talking about the battery inside the 3ds than no it should not be rounded at all, it should be rectangular like almost every battery. But, if you are talking about the port hole on the 3ds than yes well half of it, the top facing up is supposed to be flat, while going down it should start to round it’s self.
Miles Tails Prower it may signal that If the orange recharge indicator light blinks while the system is plugged in and charging, then it is likely that the battery is not installed properly. Properly inserting the battery should resolve the issue.
I don’t recommend this method to charge your 3ds. The one I have is trash and I don’t know how u have a straight orange on it. Mine likes to blink. The charging is horrendous. If ur luckier than I am,go ahead and use it. Other wise just buy a new 3ds. Don’t try and go through the headache that I’m in.
A possible reason is your 3ds ports are dirty or completely dead. Which cases like this are where u must replace it, or another reason is the 3ds needs to be at a certain position for it to fully connect, so it can charge.
Did u plug the cord into the 3ds or the dock, if you put it in the 3ds and it doesn’t show orange, than like mine the pet inside the 3ds is damaged, if you plugged it in the dock, then either the problem is not the 3ds it is the charger cord itself, or there is a problem with the dock itself, if possible try getting another dock or charger.
RIP i lost that when i got my 3ds in 1st grade cause i didnt know what it did
The Lazy Outsider oh man I’m srry for ur loss. If u can u can get one at gamestop or on amazon

sunny the destroyer it could be due to an electrical problem with the 3ds due to its conditions and outdated systems I do apologize
I bought 2 and that helped me figure out that the port for the dock does not work, could you make a video on this?

Glad the video helped, the dock should work, as long as the two little holes besides the charging port aren’t ruined. 👍
did it work

My friend found a 3ds outside and I can't tell if it's my battery or port that's messaged up is the battery suppose to be a little rounded?
