The reason you couldnt land is because you were hovering over water, flyers cant land on water, even if the water is shallow enough for them to stand in.
EDIT: also with those blades, gigan should totally have bleed.

Its surprising Gigan can't do his Buzzsaw. Its like one of its main attacks. Tho I can understand being the model can't do it. I would add his Scattered Light Beam. In Final Wars, he did that version of the beam. So Having both beams will be awesome to have.

Gigan prolly needs a damage buff
Feels like he should be the ultimate glass cannon kaiju like the muto
Also turn on damage numbers to actually see how much damage you are doing
Gigan is really amazing!!
The team has done another glorious job with this creature.
Some details need to be polished, like the scale of power, but this Gigan is glorious
I really hope Hokmuto is the next creature, and maybe a Queen Muto skin for the Femutos.
And Zilla, the world needs a Zilla of the right size and with all the right abilities and colors.
Suggestions:
-Gigan needs a grapple attack to bring a target close to his chest and slash them and a Stomp attack to damage things that are too close
It would also be great if Gigan could swap out his scythes for hand saws as a separate item gaining a new move set.
-Mothra also needs an update, she lacks more offensive attacks, she doesn't have many but two of the ones she lacks are
Silk attack and the divine god rays
The silk attack should slow the target drastically.
And the divine god rays would be the version of Mothra, from a nuclear pulse, but in gold/white color

I feel like a cool move for any mechagodzilla would be mecha picking up Godzilla holding him in the air firing missiles at Godzilla before throwing him to the ground. This gigan mod is really cool though! Very nice animations, cool moves, overall a very good kaiju mod.

Riot, you still take damage during the flying attack lol- as in the hurtbox is still where you started the attack at and not where the Gigan model is

It's accurate though final wars gigan may look cool but he's not very durable. He can hurt Godzilla though before getting destroyed. He is cool though
EIther Final Wars Godzilla, Mothra Leo, Kumonga, Ebirah or a resized Godzilla Earth (since it would be too big and can be extremely glitchy) would be awesome additions to ARK
I think Gigan just need some "Armor" or resistance to damage, and a little bit more of damage, We didn't see the health of Mecha Godzilla, Mothra, and Ghidorah after the fight, but Burning godzilla, and Rodan, didn't even reach half health after beating Gigan. I think even mothra probably didn't get to half health either.
How about Gamera as the next Kaiju
