@@signlanguagegenius66It is a noun verb pair. Like car/drive The sign for car is just like your hands up (like at a steering wheel) the sign to drive is that same sign but in a direction. As in the case for business and busy when you say busy you shake your head. with business you don't do anything. . I hope i explained that good. im not an expert btw
You’re videos always help me, I’ve been interpreting for a deaf person in my church. I’ve learned a lot so far, and I always love to tune into your videos😊
I am a hearing person, I worked years ago with a deaf lady amd we became friends, but now I’m retired and just love your channel so I can practise amd learn more and more, I just wish I had the chance to use my sign language skills❤️🇨🇦
I want to learn more about these kind of signs like in these video! Please and thanks for all you do. The last four days I’ve been doing nothing but watching your videos and other accredited ASL signers. I love the sentences you do at the end because most of the time you have one or two extra words that you can learn that you don’t have any video.
I came to youtube today to look for the SEE-II sign for cat, thinking that it might be like the ASL whisker-looking sign but with a C (for cat) based on the wikipedia article about SEE-II referencing the first letter of the word. What I learned was so much more interesting and useful.
Thank you so much! These videos are extremely helpful. Although I don't know anyone who may be deaf, mute, or hearing impaired, I'm starting school in a few weeks. I don't know who I'll meet, so I want to be prepared. Thank you again, Meredith!
I'm a barber, and I want to be more inclusive for the deaf community, so I've been learning ASL. Can you do a video on words or phrases that could be used in a salon/barber shop? 🤔
I'd love to learn more of these. I'm enjoying learning ASL but honestly mine right now is part "words" I know, part acting with moving your eyebrows, etc and part charades because I don't know the sign or proper usage. Lol. Love your videos! ❤️
Can you also talk about PSE? I think most of us ASL learners who learn this language later in life use PSE in our signing structure more often. Thanks!!
Hi Meredith! I'm wondering why your video doesn't have true captions (just auto generated). This is always important, but is especially important when teaching ASL. Also, I'm curious--you didn't mention your connection to the D/deaf community in your bio. What is your connection to the community? Thanks!
On a television program I watch fairly often, the sign for thank you and good appear to be the same. Are they the same sign, or is there a subtle difference that I am missing?

I am a little confused. How is business the same sign for busy? 🤔

What does PSE stand for? Thanks.
Thank you, your videos are very fun and instructional! I love your approach to teaching more about the language and the culture!🤟🏿
That’s a great video! Hopefully that the signers will understand it. Have a very pleasant weekend, Meredith! 😊

Thank u 4 ur videos. I enjoy watching.
Loving your videos! I’m wondering if there is some marker for tense? e.g. “I ran out of money” vs. “I am running out of money”

Smooth sponsor transition ;)
I want my kids to learn ASL. They are resistant to the idea. Any thoughts on getting them interested?
I have long ways to go, kinda of hard though, but I love to sign! Thank you❤️🙏🏽💯
Love this! Thank you!
🤟🏼I enjoy learning ASL
Great video!
Wow!🤩
Hello!
Hi
💖
Deaf people should be teaching ASL to this degree, their culture and language has been exploited long enough.
English is so hard. My god. This just confused me so hard. The ASL signs make more sense than English.
