Thankyou🙌- I just use a swivel to some fluorocarbon trace (go as light as you can depending on environment, if it’s rough ground use stronger stuff) from there a 7’0 KLT Hook. Add some ball sinkers before the Hook if there’s heaps of current. You want to float the bait down as naturally as possible. Hope this helps🤙
Live watching your videos man you would have to be my favorite RUclips at the moment as I enjoy seeing someone do well in my area I am a local and have just invested in a foshing kayak I am just curios over the weekend I went out in my other dinghy and we had no luck off of orewa cause I watched your other video and I thought I would Gove it a try but I did forget my burley but in the end we ended up shooting over to wairewa off of that rock outside of the beach and we had some good luck and me and my mate managed to get 12 pannies for dinner just thought I would say but keep up the good work and look doward to seeing your next video
Wow Thankyou so much man really do appreciate the love!! Burley does make a big difference and when you’ve got to paddle to the next spot it burleying up helps haha. That’s awesome bro, I am planning on a Waiwera mission at some stage too. Great to hear you’ve got out there and enjoying the ocean, good luck for your future missions and thanks for support🙌🤙
Thankyou bro🙌 Lots of the snapper are eating shellfish around the area so shellfish berley can be great, otherwise oily berley like a salmon burley is great as it can travel a bit further, both will work!! I like to get the cardboard ones so you can recycle and no plastic will end up in the water! Fishing Direct in silverdale was the spot for that one, there’s also a Top Catch on the Whangaparoa peninsula if your heading that way. Good luck out there!!
