    Thanks for the very detailed explanation. I couldnt get my 1 of 2 HDS lowrance unit to show colors. Then you mentioned you have to do it on both finders. Thanks for the great information.

    Hey Matt, do you always keep the same shading for the c-map in all bodies of waters

    I just watched 3 or 4 RUclips videos on how to do it so I knew what I was doing when I got into the menu section.
    So far, it allowed me to get into menu, more options, chart options... but it does not have "shading" listed when I scroll down. That is the next step, but it is not showing up on my screen when I try to scroll down. Any suggestions?

    Will this work with the already downloaded c maps on all 3 of my Lowrance units? Or will I have buy a chip for this to work? Thx

      It works with the base map on the units!

      ⁠@@MattBeckerFishingwill it still do waypoints and all on my other units? Would a card be any better like cmap reveal??
