I wanted Cooper Beebe at 56 if he was there. The fact we got him at 73 oh shut your mouth.
Beebe "to me" was the best pick this year for the cowboys...
I realize that the Cowboys couldn't get every position of need met thru the draft, but getting 2 starters was major and depth to the DLine and depth at CB was crucial. A solid B+ grade I would give them for this year's draft
We still need to get a DT in free agency. We need a veteran at 1 tech.

I really like this draft. Repairing this Oline allows us to be better run team. Especially with the maulers like Zak Tyler and Beebe in the middle. We building a power run game that is invaluable in the cold playoff weather. I expect Tolbert to really step up this season as well
I don't consider Zack to be a maulers. More a technician. But Zack is definitely mean and strong enough.

@@sparkyth67man, we used to have an O line that made Darren McFadden a 1k rusher. We fixed our trenches so that anyone can run behind it.

@seanseangreen23 McFadden always had potential. Just couldn't stay healthy and played behind bad O lines. We don't have any potential. An old ineffective Zeke, an injury prone Dowdle, a scat back who isn't used in Vaughn. Our only hope is a team cuts a good RB because the ly need a roster spot. Or you trade for a guy like Mostert from the Dolphins who drafted Wright and have Achane.
@@seanseangreen23 We had a good line last year dude but couldn't get short yardage and red zone pick ups. Admit it we needed a stud running back like Braelon Allen who could actually run between the tackles

I agree with you 100% we getting physical. The trade back and get Tyler Guyton was a great move. If Steele gets back to old form, and the upside of Guyton. Add in Cooper the dog our OLine has potential in a year or 2 could be the best in the NFL. I do wish we could have gotten a RB but it wasn't in the cards.
The Wake Forest guy could you play him slot or on a bigger guy since he is not a blazer?

I just liked this draft so much more than last year because we sat at our picks on day 2 and 3 and got best value and our best on the board. When we do that we are the best drafting team in the league. When we don’t, you get what we got last year.

Love your stuff. 1st time viewer. I have 2 comments.1. The RBs on roster have skills…no RB can create yds with no blocking. 2. On obvious passing downs, Zeke saved Dak’s life numerous times over the years. One of the best 3rd and long blocking backs I’ve ever seen. Is that worthy of a roster spot…Dak thinks so and I get it. Answer…The draft. Those 2 lineman open holes in the run game.
We could have traded down from 87 and still got Luifau, Carson, plus 2 RBs like Vidal and Laube. First 3 picks were great.

Flournoy is going to be dangerous on those deep and shallow crossers. Also the way the alexander wrestled that ball away from cooks will not happen with fournoy. Good catch radius, hands, speed. Look at his story he had to fight to get here so hes going to be hungry. Once he learns how to run routes he could be really good.

The Cowboys want to make sure they have some toughness and depth at OL. Ball, Walestco and Edoga are on notice.

I truly respect the work you are doing keep grinding. I know one of the many reasons folks are upset is because the Cowboys might go two years in a row without drafting a true starter in the first and the second round. Remember there was not one starter in last years draft. This is also the second year folks keep saying "physical". Schoon was a McCarthy pick yet two more TE have been brought in as UDFA. Im sorry but if you cant get on the field then your just another player on the bench.

@happymood888 in a normal year only you're 1st 2 picks contribute. You may find someone to start in the 3rd but it's very slim. Guyton bebe will start for sure. Kneeland will be a rotational player who they're hoping will eventually take tanks spot since he'll be a free agent soon.

I like a lot of the picks. Don't get me wrong, but also, that 2nd round pick was a bit baffling considering what we needed and what was still available. And honestly, I get being skeptical of the national narrative and/or a fan narrative of what you possibly might need. But when 98% of us see the same thing, that there is a glaring need for a running back, its less of narrative and more of a objective and unified observation. And, at this point I almost have to feel pretty objective of any plan of Jerry'Stephen, considering we have been following their plans for so long and have constantly gotten the same result. I don't doubt there is some potential for that 2nd round pick, Kneeland. I just don't see the need for it right now or even at that pick. We still have D-Law, Micah, Williams, and Fehoko there. I would have much rather taken Benson there and then grabbed Beebe, and then I would have had no objections to it, at all. I just don't like the lack of emphasis on this glaring need at RB.
D law is getting old and i believe hes a free agent after this season. I dont see this team competing anyway the next couple years may as well build for the future.

D+... Philly destroyed the draft. They definitely got an A+.
This draft was 1million% about violence. The power up front on both offense and defense. I will say I would like 1 more lb and the also pick up a rb. Even if you get zeke get 1 more younger rb. Prolly a rb that is quick to move and can catch out of the backfield. I get we have some rb's that are youngish BUT alot of them we already know what they are about and that they prolly aren't a #1-2 rb. Yes they can come in sometimes and get you 4+ yards but thats all they really can do consistently. Now with Lb I think we need 1 more that is more of a zone/spy Lb just for the fact of alot of what we have rn are downhill players or they are more undersized. Just give me 1 more Lb that is a good size and that is good with zone/spying. Other than that I think this draft went very VERY well. Yes it could always be better BUT what we got is very good. All together ranking wise I'd say a B+/A-. We just need alot of these players to develop into decent/good players in the next 2-3 years and we are set tbh.

Could of been smoke and mirrors. The Cowboys don’t value RBs. So why would they draft one high? They feel they have their running back in house. And almost sure Zeke will be back.

Foots...us being die hard cowboys fans who ride or die, who stay loyal no matter what, can we admit there's a difference between being reactive and proactive? We all know the definition of insanity....what do you call it when you continue to do what you did in the past that gave you success, and expecting that same success moving forward when there has not been the success that was expected?....we arent going to talk shit about our boys publicly, but on the low, we can be logical and admit that when you are dealing with a situation in which a business, whose job is to make money, and doesn't suffer any financial consequences of bad moves financially, cowboys still the most valuable team in the world, at what point can anyone tell the person who is running shit, who technically hasn't had any success in 29 years, that his inability to adapt is the reason for our lack of success?....how do you have "all the pieces" yet still can't replicate the successes of the past?...I would conclude that I wasn't the reason of those past successes...I was a part of it, but obviously not the majority of it...we all should know are roles in the past successes we took part in, but also be humble enough to admit our roles....pick all the right players you want, without a real leader you got nothing but stats that just confirm false biases...

B-/C+ for me we got the positions needed besides RB and traded back for extra picks when we didn’t have enough picks in this draft. We let some good players pass us for players a tier below. I think the Cowboys get cute because they have been told how good they draft. Foots I’m been watching you from the very beginning I appreciate the positivity but all these draft pick don’t be B or even C picks let’s be real brudda.

Cowboys front office always think they the smartest in the room doing what they do, & look what they get,.... over a quarter of a century of underwhelming results, 0 cc's & 0 sb's, but the fanbase keep supporting this, keeping them #1 in value & popularity in pro sports, that's their goal, they will keep doing what they do, the fanbase wants championships & good football, unfortunately that cannot be produced with how this ownership runs the team.
