Such a great show. I really can't understand the ratings. Refreshing to see a great period piece.
I didn't realize the show's first season had low ratings but it's not too hard to figure out why. Viewers gravitate more toward trashy reality shows than intelligent, well-made shows like this one. Sadly, reality television has ruined our society.
This show needs to come back. It has been the most perfect thing on TV since I don't know when. I'm an avid swing dancer, so I can't get enough of this time period and everything about it (the great vintage part of it all). I need more!!

lucysixm The ratings is because its screens same time as mens shows like dc shows etc so most of the missing crowds is actually guys sadly
lucysixm To be honest, I had low expectations for this as well. I think it was because I wasn't sure if Agent Carter was a good enough character to have a spin-off of but I've never been more wrong, she's one of the better female leads I've ever come across, if not the best. I think it is a lot more in-depth (rather than junkfood TV) and I think the market is pretty small as well, probably only people who are huge Marvel fans would give it a go. Shame though. It's renewed for a season 2 so things are looking up!
They have such a sweet friendship. And they're both fantastic on the show :)

Agents of shield started badly, then got ok after cap 2, and has been great season 2
Yeah, although I thought it was more than Okay. Around the mid point it was awesome.
I agree. Vastly superior. Everyone said that Agents of SHIELD got better after season one. But even if that's true, I still hate Skye's character with all my being and the main Agents weren't even the main agents everyone knows from the comics: Quartermaine, Morse, Romanoff, Quake, Barton, Hill, and Fury. Instead we have lame unrealistic Skye, badass Ward (only good character in the series, to be honest), silly Coulson, Mulan?, and quirky british siblings. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE and why should we care about them? I like that they include comic book heroes and villains (i.e. Graviton, Amora's sister, and the Inhumans) but the entire premise is done wrong that I find myself not caring enough to tune in. Agent Carter has captured me due to its great storytelling and characters, which is why I find it better than Agents of SHIELD.
Chris Bowman the turning point from me was when sky figured it all out, I was so frightened for her during that scene. Not all shows can pull that kind of twist off
they are so adorable.

I hope it gets renewed for a 3rd season!!! I want to see more of this friendship! and of S.H.I.E.L.D. forming, and PeggyxSousa

If you didn't know, Alfred is Bruce Wayne's(Batman's) butler.

What's more, Jarvis was Tony's butler in the comics but he was changed to an A.I. for the MCU specifically to avoid comparisons to Batman

Gotta say,to support the argument made by the interviewer, having the AI JARVIS and the butler himself be English is brilliant. From the start of the Iron Man trilogy, it gave life to the innovative, educated, driven, focused side of Tony, and a sense of respect and poise. Having D'Arcy to add to that feeling with the honor and business nature of Peggy but also the relatable poshness, if you will, is just brilliant casting and awareness of the social dynamic that is being portrayed. Truly excellent, and his and Peggy's dynamic is what makes this one of my top 5 favorite Marvel shows easily

Arrow is better
Malcolm Meryn Well, that's subjective ofc, so I won't argue 'better'.
I will only say what I prefer. Personally, I find Arrow to be a lack luster Batman clone with under realised characters. It does have some great points though, I won't lie, but it, for me, has none of the charm, wit, or style of Agent Carter. AC's plot has great internal logic and a perfect pace, Arrow's seems to be being thrown together on the fly. It's kind of a mess to my eyes most of the time... The characters chop back and forth as dictated by the currently required plot device rather than who they actually are. I find it pretty unsatisfying.
It also doesn't have Hayley Atwell.
I absolutely love these two people - I can't even tell you enough.
They're both so much fun to watch.

Honestly just started watching this show and I'm bummed it's canceled, BUT HOPEFUL that it'll come back. Happy to know there are crowds of fans who love it just as much. Bring back Agent Carter! :D

I think Agent Carter is a show with wasted potential. A third season should happen on Disney+ and show her building SHIELD and recruiting Arnim Zola and maybe we could see Hydra begin to rise underneath Peggy’s nose. There’s so many options. Peggy’s story is so much more than just her love life, and I feel like we should have seen more!
That being said - I have grown to love seasons 1 and 2 of this show! It’s so fun!
James has gotta have some Benedict Cumberbatch blood in him.

Hope there will be second season. I love the show. Jarvis and Carter are on the higher level than all characters on Agents Of SHIELD. I cant stand Fitz-Simmons and Skye (Daisy) is more barbie than some sort of Superhero.
