when I first saw Kvitova play , I thought she would give Serena a tough fight regularly . then she fell off ... .same like Mary pierce during her French upset of Steffi Graf fell away but when she is on ,,,, she literally was blowing Serena away when it came to sheer power today .
There are so many parallels between Pierce and Kvitova, from their power to their inability to be consistent (Kvitova is more consistent than Pierce) but both players, more than anything else, could blow anyone off the court when in they were on!
