I would love if sellers would have to justify the price of these homes. I live near this neighborhood- NOTHING is worth more than $300,000. Schools are ok but average. The “shopping” area is geared towards more affordable food for the people who actually live, work & shop here! So there’s no Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s close by (for people who can afford to shop there) the house itself is nice, but it’s average for this neighborhood. This area is a regular family neighborhood, not a high end one. And it irks the hell out of me that all these builders and realtors are trying to make it into something it’s not and the people who actually have lived here for more than 5 minutes do not want!
I completely get it but it’s all about supply and demand.
