All Hallows is a bit of a slow burn at first, but once the scene is set it just explodes and runs for the finish. I loved it!
Yes, I wish that FL and others would give us the option to know what the books will be. I have gotten multiple copies before from WS because I didn't realize it would be the book for FL. Which is to say that FL is definitely the box for me because they are sending books that I am interested in. lol

The Ballad of Black Tom was really interesting! The audio book is great. If you don't want to read the whole Shades of Magic series again, she did a video series going over all of them in prep for threads release. Loved them.

Old Fashioned Cupcake is so cute! It has a live action adaptation that I've seen and its honestly adorable. The age difference is I think 10 years, so not too bad, 39 and 29. From what I recall of the live action, not problematic.
Omg, you picked up Dorohedoro! I'm not a huge Manga person, but Dorohedoro somehow was my thing and I recommended it previously. Makes me want to continue right away ^^ I'm excited for your opinion :)
Promise of Blood is so good, i wish more people knew about it. i hope you like the series 🥰 and Victor LaValle is also amazing, felt so eerie and uneasy, true cosmic horror. i'd recommend Lovecraft but sadly cosmic horror daddy is very ugh to read

Ooh Im so excited to see how you find Dragonball/Dragonball Z. I grew up with Z and didnt get round to the original until I was in my 20s (love both but Z is the far superior of the set) Im totally loving your manga journey, got me right back into manga so I'll thank you for that.
You are gonna love JoJos I think however Phantom Blood isnt the best, its good but part 2 with Joseph is honestly the right mix of camp, macho and fun !

You asked if there would be more Stormlight Archive books, and I almost hate to tell you...there are 10 planned books in the series, two sets of 5 books. 😬Brandon Sanderson has recently said that he's almost finished with book 5. I wouldn't let that hold you back from starting the series though, since it's his best in my opinion!!
I've been reading and loving the Sanderson secret novels, loved the first three, I've heard that the sunlit man takes place after all of the stormlight archive books, and fans are saying that it's necessary to read those books first.
now the first thought I had was ...... where is he gonna find the space for this many new books

You can definitely read Twilight Out of Focus as a stand-alone and I think it was one for the longest time but now it is slated to have 4 volumes and I think 3 are out already.
Time to add more books to my TBR that I don't need😂
Also, you can read Chalice Of The Gods after reading Heroes of Olympus and before reading Trials of Apollo if that makes sense

FUN (and unnecessary) fact : I had a pet goat when I was young that was raised in the house. I named him YuGi. I grew up watching YuGi Oh, Dragon Ball, and my all time favorite Sailor Moon. I am looking forward to you reading them I may have to get copies to read along.
I just finished The Chalice of the Gods and technically you can read it as book 6 of the PJO series, but I recommend reading The Heroes of Olympus first because it just explains the state of mind Percy is in, and some minor refferences make more sense. Technically it doesn’t spoil that series very much though. There’s nothing in this one particular book that needs you to have read The Trials of Apollo yet though. Hope this helps!

You should also read Magnus chase and the Gods of Asgard as well. One, he is related to a character (last name is the hint). And two, Percy show up too in the third I believe. And three book one and two intertwine with trails of apollo book one and two. If I remember correctly. Kane Chronicles are good too, especially when you read demigods and magicians short book.
Moriarty is a good one I really like the anime and the mango the mysteries are really cool.
I saw black iris in an Elias vid and I’ve ordered a few of the authors books-apparently the 4 books are like a series. The characters pop up throughout. Black iris is expensive rn tho argh!

There's six Dune books, by Frank Herbert. I don't think I've ever seen anyone recommend the last two though.
I like Dune, but every time I reread it, I notice more problematic stuff, so I wouldn't recommend expecting the best SF book ever when you read it.
Two manga series that i like but dont see anyone talk about much are Sherlock Bones and Delicious in Dungeon. I've only read the first volume of SB cause its the only one my skl library had but loved it. It's basically sherlock homes reincarnated as a puppy. And Delicious in Dungeon I've read the first maybe 5 or 6 volumes. Its basically fantasy, adventure. Both not very well known but fun series. (I thought so anyway🙂)
Currently buying a couple of books on Kindle because they're cheap and in my price range. Enjoying watching your purchases especially as my bank balance isn't ruined 😂❤

I'm watching chainsaw man at the moment but am still not sure how I feel about it 😂 a few episodes in but I think episode 1 (so maybe vol 1) has been the best so far. I am in a very long library queue for the britney spears memoir audiobook. Heartstopper is coming!! I have out there screaming and I am so excited 🥰 I've read a few stories. I am currently reading a taste of darkness and amy mccaw's story in it is good. Agatha christie

If you are reading Goodnight Punpun, I highly suggest you couple that with reading Yotsuba (Yotsuba&/Yotsubato) for your own wellbeing. Its the best feel good series I know of and if you enjoyed Spy x Family, you'll like this too
Barakamon is another well regarded feel good series, though I've only seen the anime
You might like to try Annarasumanara too, its a manhwa and a short one at that. Annarasumanara is basically means like Abrakadabra from what I gather
