The crazy thing about this is that this is how young Esme and Carlisle are supposed to look. Imagine these two rolling into town- Carlisle already being a successful doctor despite looking like they both just had their first legal drinks- with five adoptive teenage children. I'd die.
No i think it was said in the book that Carlisle was 32 and Esme was 35. They aren't supposed to look like they're fresh iut of high school or in their twenties. In the books they described them young but still old enough to be in charge of a group of teenagers. Carlisle is supposed to be a younger uncle to teenagers.
@@aximaysosa8885 Esme was about 26, think about it if she had a baby in the ww1 age, who died, her only child, she wouldn't have had it in her 30s. Carlise I believe 23. Edward even said she was three years older than Carlise in Eclipse too.

@@alexrenee2802 There's a Twilight guidebook called "The Twilight Saga: the official illustrated guide" which explains all characters(Cullens, Black, Volturis and all other vampires you've seen in Breaking Dawn),characteristics and their backstories.

I agree. They should definitely make more. I'd like to see one that's a double-feature. The first one would be about Carlisle's life from the time he was the born to the time he became a vampire and discovered he could survive on animal blood. The second one would be about where he first met Esme and left shortly after that and then met Edward and his mother and turned Edward after his mother died.

@@jazmineferguson7711, Sorry, but Carlisle FIRST met Edward and converted him, because he was deeply lonely and wanted to find a companion, and then, a few years later, he met Esme.

I raised several kids that weren't mine in my own family and if it helps you. It doesn't matter at what age you get them, it doesn't matter that you didn't carry them in your womb, you'll love them as much as if you did. This is the reason why I want to adopt my kids even tho I can have them...when I think of all those kids that people just gave up or couldn't raise it kills me to think that so many will grow up to be orphans.
This why they should do a "Twilight" spin-off TV series, to delve more into the characters & mythology that the movies did not have time to get into. What do you think?

I wholeheartedly agree, I never even knew that these existed until now, but these as a series would take a light hand, look how many episodes it took to get the Twilight series right, "the devil is in the details" isn't an incorrect statement, and was proven by those first few installations, they finally got it right in Breaking Dawn, and I could watch that once a month and not be sick of it.😏👍

The way these guys can perfectly capture Carlisle's eloquent manurisms is beyond me
I keep watching this one because of the way Carlisle treats Esme.
These films would make an amazing prequel series for twilight. Like each season is based around each Cullen and their life before they were turned/how and why they were turned. Like season 1 is Carlisle, season 2 is Esme, season 3 is Edward, Season 4 is Rosalie, Season 5 is Emmett, Season 6 is Jasper and Season 7 is Alice and how here and Jasper joined the Cullen's. And like the last episode of the series is the Cullen's coming back to forks and Alice having a vision of Bella.
Great Idea I would pay to watch that series.

Twilight would have been a great T.V. Series if they added the Cullens backstory. It would have been a masterpiece. The book is great, the movie,... eh not so much except the fight scene.

They did an excellent job of transferring the books to the big screen. Better than any book to movie adaptation I've ever seen.
They could make a brilliant 6 to 12 episode season of just separate back stories. Like an hour long each episode.

Well now wonder it’s hard for jasper or anyone of the cullens to control their thirst! It never occurred to me that they can hear heartbeats all around them like Esme just did , how tempting that must be! Poor jasper!
I don't remember of the movies, but in the books it was described clearly that vamps could stronngly hear human's heartbeat, their heat and their scent

I was playing animal crossing when I looked up a twilight scene and found these! Dude twilight could've been like this, the back stories of the Characters were so good! They skipped so much.

Now as an adult it makes me want to scream... In the first one she began kind sticking up for herself but the second she was the damsel... She was back to being herself strong minded and somewhat dependent by the third. As women we are stronger then we know

But there was a reason why men used to say demeaning things like, “don’t you worry your pretty little head” to women, thinking we couldn’t handle anything. A woman can be strong, independent and do things herself while still remaining feminine.

@ymarrero23 but with todays society we have no choice. Not all of us are as lucky as you or our parents to find someone that would let the women be able to choose. Now a days men don't care and just leave and it can either break or make a women strong. Bella broke and once he was back she got strong again as if she needed him... But in real life the men don't come back so would she have continued broken? Or would she stand up and try again?

Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful writer with a great imagination. It’s just that the idea came from the meadow scene, so that’s what she focused on. All of the backstories were afterthoughts to her. Like the lush background of a portrait, but the portrait is kinda shitty.

That would be AWESOME. With such rich backstories to work with, that she's already built, why on Earth does she waste her time on a gender bending version of Twilight? Her characters are SO three-dimensional, SO incredibly sympathetic and each has huge, epic tales to tell for ages ... Aro ALONE is nearly 3400 years old!!! And he murdered his sister, who was happily in love and married to his best friend Marcus!!! Yes, THAT Marcus. Marcus never knew who murdered his beloved soulmate. If he ever finds out... yikes. There's a vampy soap opera worth telling. They could give telenovelas a run for their money!
And Carlisle's dad blamed him for his mother dying giving birth to him. Stupidly, he considered Carlisle a murderer. So he beat him regularly, in between completely neglecting and ignoring him. This "great man of God", the Reverend 🤮 Cullen was such a man of God.

let's be honest, we all want a carlisle
So far I’ve only watched alice story and the video if jasper and Carlisle and garret but by far the actress who played esme in this video has show the most potential. It doesn’t feel forced or awkward to watch her. It feels like she actually is this character.
This makes me feel really bad for Esme ): she had a sad past just like most of the cullens and vampires
