Finally, I got to see Nishida, Ishikawa and Takahashi in the starting lineup together! Hoping to see them all in their best form come Tokyo Olympic Games :>
Great to see Defalco's improvement. A force to be reckoned with! Nishida is still recovering. Hoping to see his unstoppable power soon when he's fully recovered! Great game.
It's gratifying Nishida coming back to the game, gradually. I hope to see you the games at Tokyo olympics in 100% of your shape. In this game against USA they were better.
I was confused at first when i heard it... but when i saw your comment i was like.. yess that s my boys music... But which one is this... cuz i don't remember them all 🤣😅
First time hearing about DeFalco but he seems like a beast! It seemed like it was a high light reel of his early on. Looking forward to seeing more of him and Nishida
Erik shoji was on fire today!! USA played amazing. Japan is still finding their groove i think, new captain, new lineup, nishida’s injury comeback.. I can’t wait to see them back on track and moving like a well oiled machine..
Japan is a great team although they still have a lot of things to work on, there's something about them that makes me wanna support them no matter what. It was a nice game!!
@@akari3540 I think that wasn't the problem. USA had really good serve recieves today and blocked Nishida a lot of times. Japan had their teamwork in place, but struggled to find and defend points on serve.
@@aronrabben4768 Christenson’s sets are also too quick for them to read. You can see the defenders are always a step late when the attackers are already in place.
Nishida also just came back from an injury so obviously it’ll take a while for them to return to their standards. They were definitely not at their best here. Big props to USA though.
I love the match up and think that all of the Japanese players are great, but can we talk about how straight up dominant Defalco was this entire game? Impact play after impact play, insane chemistry with Christensen. I'm excited to see this USA team get even better.
Hope USA finds their rhythm and chemistry before the Olympics. It’s gonna be really tough for them, especially without Russell and Anderson still recovering. Russia, France, Poland, Brazil… all teams are looking great right now. Really hard to predict who’ll make it!
It's my first time to see Erik Shoji do a jumpset. Fantastic. That Defalco x Nishida match up is bomb. And I'm glad that Defalco is improving on his attitude inside the court. He should just maintain that.
Defalco was a superstar for the US. Japan's sets were all over the place the first two sets. Japan will need to cover the cross court shots from the outside hitters better
Japan has a decent squad. I hate seeing injuries bring down a good team in any sport. The perfect season to me is a team where every team is 100% healthy, but sports just isn’t that fair
I hate how the description spoils you on the outcome. Like, it's in the first line of text and I didn't even have to scroll down on the page to see it. Really kills the suspense.
Finally, I got to see Nishida, Ishikawa and Takahashi in the starting lineup together!
Hoping to see them all in their best form come Tokyo Olympic Games :>
And they did not change court for Set 2?
Takahashi won't play the Olympic Games... the Middle Blockers that Nakagaichi choose was Yamauchi, Onodera and Haku Lee :/
@@kametaniseidi-san3109 He meant Takahashi Ran, the outside hitter #21, not middle blocker
But Takahashi not perform well today

Well played by both teams it looks like, Nishida getting back on form! Looking forward to seeing more matches and what they do in the Olympics!
Always a joy watching Japan plays....
Nishida getting blocked a few times but it's a big fight of japan at this game.
Congrats usa.
5:48 that's some insane hang time

Defalco's best game of all time.
The blocks are superb and his spikes are destructive!
His season in valentina was great aswell he’s gonna be the next big American talent
I remember seeing him play in college out of Long Beach. Dudes has gotten bigger!
Let's go US! Huge presence from Defalco and Anderson was doing such a good job of covering consistently.

Long Beach State player. HUGE recruit, been amazing forever. He's legit.
Defalco is an amazing blocker. Excellent game
DeFalco becoming what we all hoped for. His block at 23-23 was unbelievable.
