I love the way Laura gives credit and praise to her helpers.
Rosa is a gem.
Yes she is
Definitely!!!
Music
So nice to see how everything is doing thanks to Rosa’s excellent care.
No matter how down I feel Laura and her enthusiasm always makes me smile😊
Hats off to Rosa! Great job! Everything looks amazing!
@@CrispeeCrisps15 Well Spiderplant…. I think Laura expressed her bad plants. I’m not lying 🤥 In gardening there’s bad and good failures… Which makes it amazingly good!
Laura - you are really rocking it with the amazing garden tours. Absolutely the best.
Boy, I really love the long shade planter box! The Pegasus Begonia is spectacular along with the torenia, begonia and coleus! Stunner! I get to plant the pots at the mini mall where I work. It gets early morning sun and then shade the rest of the day. This would be a perfect combo for next year!♡ I planted a few of the Surefire Cherry Cordial Begonia in my front beds, and I love they way they glow when the sun hits them. Extra props to Rosa... she is working hard to keep all those beauties growing ♡
Please do a tour of your moms gardens, love her beautiful home an gardens 🥰
Ohhh I second this!
Yes please!!!
Yep l agree it will be nice to see how everything doing. And she has such a beautiful garden.
@@michaliareeton3247 yes! I feel like its so rare to see a garden like hers in this area.... hills and lots of shade, WOW! Dreamy
YAS!
Oh my God, Laura seriously you think that maybe !!! we take something away from you by you showing us how things grow. I don’t think you realize how much your videos influence and motivate us. I have so many of your suggestions in my garden. I feel like every turn I take it’s something that you have suggested or shown I just love your videos. I love all the things you show and suggest. I wish that I would write down more when I watch the video the first time so I can use them next year, But when I don’t, I go back to watch your videos again before the next season and that’s when I write down some of the flower names so I can look for it in my local nursery. And I have to say that I am really looking forward to trying that purple combination, that was gorgeous. Never doubt that everything you do affects the rest of us in such a positive way. Thank you for everything you do.❤
Just under the name of the video is a spot that says number of views and how many hours ago and *…more* If you tap on the *more* and scroll down, you’ll find the transcript. Makes it easier to get the names of things. Good luck!!
@@pollytiks3885 Thank you, I didn't know that!
@@pollytiks3885most of the time. … cracks me up with some of the names google thinks it’s hearing. But usually it’s a good starting spot to search online
Thanks for the update tour. It is good to see both the successes and the struggles since we all have both. I do miss the cannas in the courtyard beds. They are such a striking plant in a large area like that. Great job and Rosa does a wonderful job taking care of everything.
Never one to criticize but I miss the vertical interest of the canna lilies also. Over all you guys did an incredible job. Can't believe the rose's 🤗💓💕💞
I came to say, I agree about the cannas. They add so much to the back row vertical beauty.
48 days….where oh where did the time go 🤷🏼♀️. Beautiful!!! Thanks Rosa for the daily care 🌸🌺🌼🥰
I was thinking the same thing!
Good morning, Laura ☕️ Wow! What a huge difference in those bare root roses! 🙌🏻😍 Everything looks beautiful. Have a Blessed Day😊🐈
Love that shade container with the caladiums and begonias! I might have to copy that one! Thanks for the inspiration!
Sweetie , your ," use your side-eye, walk by quickly" , cracked me up!! So many flowers , so much joy!
I was first in line at an estate sale and weeded rhe entire entry while waiting for the doors to open! Just can't help myself! Great minds think alike! Love your channel.
🙂
😂 I drive my friends crazy when I do that😂!
And huge thanks to you for taking on this project and showing us the different phases of their growth.
I love the way you turn a major issue into a learning opportunity. Yes, it was surprising to see the struggle of the plants due to lack of water but I am looking forward to see recovery. Thanks!
That was a great tour of the college. The combination of the flowers really turned out beautiful.
I love how excited you get with each bed and container. I find myself doing that when a plan comes together. Everything looks beautiful!
What a gift you are to your community! Beautiful beds and containers!
I really value your updates and the honesty on the things that haven’t worked out. Knowing what do, when to pull out and replant and when to just supplement what’s there is so helpful.
Wow those double delight blush begonias are absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ Rosa has done a wonderful job
Coffee ready, video ready..let’s start the day! 🤩
Everything is beautiful! Rosa does a great job! 💕💕
The campus looks so nice. Yes, each year we learn something about our plants the good and bad. The roses are loving it. Hard to believe they were bare roots! Rosa does a great job watering too! Thank you for the tour!💚
Morning Everyone 🥰
Good morning ☀️
I can say from experience with the supertunia mini vista Scarlet, it is a water issue. Mine have regular water and they are overtaking the pot they are in 😊
Good morning! So many beautiful areas on campus. Some I like better than others. Always love the updates on things you’ve planted!
The College gardens looked great for the most part. Hopefully the areas that didn’t get water will bounce back and look just as amazing. Rosa is doing a fantastic job of taking care of everything.😊
Amazing how plants react differently each year! You guys did an awesome job! Love seeing the change from planting to now. 🥰❤️
I say again, the community is so lucky to have you! And TVCC in particular!💚💚💚
I am with you on those two colors in the front bed..but the one in front of the science center is so pretty
The courtyard bed are coming out beautifully and the pots with the purple in them is stunning..
The recipe pots are my jam
The college looks gorgeous with all those plantings you’ve been doing for the past 3 years. Having Rosa there to keep everything looking good once the flowers are in is a huge bonus 👍🏻🥰
Wow. Beautiful. The roses look amazing. The foliage is green and healthy.
Loved this walk through! Whoa! Those sunflowers popping up in flower bed are terrific! Thank you.
The flowers all are doing so good, they are just so beautiful. Rosa is really a unsung hero.❤
Greetings, Laura, from Windermere Florida 9b USA ❤
Loads of pluses ❤
Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾👍
Wow! You guys did amazing. It look so beautiful.
Oh I absolutely love the shade container at the 18:25 point of the video!
It’s so nice to get a tour to see how all of the gardened are doing.
Beautiful progress on the college beds. Laura's enthusiasm is contagious.
I think Laura is coming around with the red flowers. Love red geraniums best of all. It all looks good.
This is such a wonderful project and adds so much beauty to your community.
Love updates and seeing wins and losses, it helps us all. Appreciate you keeping us grounded and telling us things happen, not to fret. And how we learn from our plantings every year! Yaaaay for Rosa and all her hard work. :)
I saved this video because I loved so many of your choices! Thank you for your motivation! Also, for introducing me to the auger!!!!
Me too! So much variation in sun so a lot of great combos to jot down. 🎉
I also did an Americana theme this year and I planted red miniature roses, white angelonia and Blue my mind evolvulus and it looks amazing! I live in Florida zone 9b and the garden faces west so it gets blasted with afternoon sun and I did not expect that they do this well but they did. You did a beautiful job at the college, congratulations!
We will be seeing lots of Americana themed gardens in 2026. Love the bright look.
Sounds beautiful! I find myself wishing I could see pictures of the plants folks post about here - like yours!

Awesome tour! Thanks for showing and explaining your thought processes on colors, combinations, and reflections upon last year, current, and next year's plans. The beauty of all the plants are such a treasure--thanks so much to people like you, Rosa, and all the volunteers. Enhancing the botanical beauty of the college grounds does sooo much to add vibrancy, life, and just such peacefulness to the air, Truly a fantastic endeavor!!! Thanks for sharing!🥰🥰
Shade planters are fantastic!!! Will look at doing some of the combinations next year! It's great to have Rosa on board to keep the plants looking so good!
We’re learning new things too. Beautiful job. 👏🏻
Good morning from New Hampshire 5b Garden Answer friends!!🌻
Nice to see all the containers and their progress.🌸
That Superbena Sparkling Amethyst and the red Geraniums are show stoppers!
Rosa, you’re a rockstar! Everything looks great and you don’t even live there. I’m sure it’s a constant juggle with all the rain.
The college is so lucky to have you. These gardens are noteworthy!💚💚
What a beautiful show of color. I must make notes of what has performed well. Are they going to mulch the beds…mulch just makes the flowers pop & keeps that moisture in.
I love dichondra silver falls too! I have a hanging basket on my porch that I planted two in this year and that’s it. It’s a stunner every time I come home.
Your Community College is fortunate to have you as their designer. Enjoyed viewing all of your many designs. Looking forward to planting daylilies in zone 6b. Thanks, for your tutorial & have a great day!
I think agapanthus would make a nice “blue” element in a red-white-blue bed!
that’s true, i don’t think I’ve seen Laura use much agapanthus. It’s very popular in Europe and you see it in tons of gardens here.
Have you ever thought of using a dwarf blue plumbago as your blue in your red white and blue arrangements?
What do you think that would be too big?
All of you do such a beautiful job with your planters. I sure do wish I had more availability of proven winners plants or seeds, in Central Florida zone 9
Good morning! 🌻🐝
Love the side eye comment .😂😂. Really though considering alll of the plantings, it looks very good. I’m inspired by that guara and beachy pink pots and will try that next year. Very pretty.
"I try to control myself deadheading other people's stuff" - omg, I know this feeling😂
Thank you for the update tour! Perhaps mor small trees, shrubs and perennials to help with less maintenance. Disguising some larger areas of concrete with arbor, trellis deck or pergola would be nice too. Love the recipe planter with the shades of blue!
LOVE the red geraniums. Could you remind us what colour exactly you used in that first bed. I'd love to grow some for my balcony...they'll give kind of that French look, I imagine.
You got me hooked on supertunia bourdeaux and superbena sparkling amethyst. Now I have to try the misty seas combination! LOVE IT!
plants nd listening to a train, bestof both worlds, love trains, and plants, when I watch train videos I enjoy the trains but I also look at wht plants I can see and identify, trees shurb and perrenials.
There is something a little beautiful about that perennial Salvia in the courthouse bed. No, it is no longer colorful, but the fullness of the spent blooms had a lovely look to them, too.
Here in the hot southwest desert, surprisingly blue plumbagos do really well.
Hi Laura! The College gardens aew looking pretty good, even the flowers that are fading, but please find a true blue flower when you do the red, white and blue combos. Rosa does a great job taking care of everything. Thanks so much for sharing!
I planted the Catalina White Linen torenia this year in a part sun area. They have been constantly in a mass of blooms since the beginning of May. They are performing better than any of my Superbells or Supertunias. I do nothing with the torenia at all. They may have had slow release fertilizer when I planted them. I water them when I think of it. They are always in flower but never seem to have spent blooms. I have three of them in a pot with a white begonia. They are dominating the begonia. I’m in Zone 7 and we are hot and humid.
Just lovely! And the few beds that had issues I’m sure will be great in the next few weeks. Can’t wait to see them recover.
On another note, I’m so ready and anxious to see a tour of your mom’s garden!!! Hope you’re adding it to your next few videos!!
The big beds with the single color lines of supertunias look so nice in a space like that. I hope you try that in the larger area in front next year. Oh, those triangular beds are totally my jam.
Thank you for this video Laura! I learn a lot from this type of video when we can hear you reflect on your work and review the progress. It's a sneak peak into your experienced gardening mind. Thank you for sharing and teaching! I appreciate you and Aaron very much! 💐
I wish we could find so many different colors of petunias. We only ever have a few to choose from. Everything looks beautiful. Even the fails look good.
Everything looks so good! I had some supertunias perish is on 98 degree heat this week despite watering. I lost almost all of my vegetable garden plants in our heat wave in the Willamette Valley. It is like we are having your heat and you are getting our cool rainy weather.
When I was there last month, I also went downtown and looked at the containers you and your mom planted in front of the businesses. They were looking great!
I love that you keep it real Laura!
It's funny because even the supposedly "bad-looking" flower bed looks really good to me! :-). Great job, Laura, as always!!
😅 “I try to control myself deadheading other people’s stuff”… the struggle is real!
Love seeing the update! All your critiques help us to make wiser choices when we plant. Thank you!
Please give Rosa our compliments!
@15:50 for some reason that combination took me back to Egypt. I actually had a moment! It's absolutely lovely ❤
Thanks for the tour/update. I, too, have some PW plants struggling this year (jazzberry). Some are doing well, but one or two have foliage that is yellowing. All of them are planted together so it's hard to figure out what is causing it on individual plants. Anyway, it's always good to see that every gardener struggles with something at one time or another. Great video, Laura! (Still waiting to hear from you about the Skinny Fit in your own garden. LOL)
The combinations you chose really compliment the campus.
I also struggled with some plants due to 2 weeks straight of rain storms. I lost a few black eyed susans and purple cone flowers because they just could not handle the excess moisture. It was so sad to lose them but the gomphrena put on a ton of growth, so they filled in some of the empty space.
The bachelor button blue boy flower is a GREAT true blue flower. Love watching your videos. Keep them coming!!
The planters by the maintenance buildings & dorms are looking great. Those weren't in this video, but I walk by those almost every evening. Super duper gorgeous all of them! Thank you guys for making the campus so inviting & beautiful! Thank you Rosa!!
I found myself frantically running around this morning. We've had a good amount of rain here in KY but just not as much as I thought. Some of my Playin' The Blues was looking SAD. Rain messes up my watering schedule!
You are my inspiration. Whatever you plant one year, I’ll try to find them the next year. I couldn’t find the Misty Seas sold in separate containers only in hanging pots so I put them in containers
I spent almost a month putting in drip irrigation in all my flower beds. Then it rained for two weeks in North Florida.
Love all the containers. Everything looks so good. I especially like the guara, the pink and the white, but that container with the white one was so so pretty. I believe it's my favorite. I'd like to try that next year.💕
Good Morning Sweet Laura. Oh my the plants our do beautiful at the college. Everbody who worked on it should be extremely happy with the rezults. My thanks to each of them that came and help. Gids blessings to
each of them. God bless you Sweet Laura, you our a wonderful blessing to everyone around.add me to these who love your kindness to us all. ❤❤❤❤❤ You are so Special Laura , to us all. God bless your familys their all so wonderful loving people.Wanda In Ok.
Thanks for sharing the bad along with the good! It’s real-life gardening…. So many are struggling this year with odd weather.
14:00 THIS is my jam! Just beautiful!
Everything looks great! Kudos to you, Aaron and Rosa! I planted torenia for the first time this year in a shade planter by my front door. Loving it so far!
Good morning Laura! The trials of gardening are real, but the benefits are great! Hugs from N.C..♥️
Thanks for the update. Loving the tours. Hoping to get a tour of your mom's garden and an update on Monica's cute space.
I love the container by the Science center! I also love the Large Wave Violet Terenia! It is so beautiful! Thank you so much!
" ROSA " you are the most beautiful flower in the garden. Bravo for all you do!
Everything is looking sooooo good!
Love your enthusiasm and that everything “is so pretty” to you!
Yay Rosa!
Thank You for taking us to see how the college gardens are doing! When you mention that you want to use more of this or less of that, or a different variety of something, do you note it in a planning calendar or do you go back to your videos to remind you what you decided the season before?
Wow!!! These plants bring somuch joy. It's fantastic that youandAaron do this for the Community.
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
