- Hey guys, so I've been wanting to do a Kara and Cat video for a LONG time. Now I'm not a Supercat shipper in that kind of sense. I love their relationship as Cat Grant being an amazing mentor for Kara, like a mother figure who helps her to become a better person as Kara Danvers and as Supergirl.
I totally miss Cat Grant in season 2 cries we need her back for a few appearances! Anyhow, I'm heading home from Uni for Christmas break and my internet back there is RUBBISH! So I've scheduled uploads for the weeks that I'm unable to upload. So no worries! :D

I miss the good old Catcop days. I wouldn't mind if Kara decided to quit her job, which was in season 1 not even an option because I couldn't imagine Supergirl without her daily job

Kara's basically an orphan, as far as we'd know at the time of this video's season(s); some people would call this show a "feminist show", I firmly disagree, at least on its nature- she's an orphan from a destroyed planet who's merely trying to survive in a foreign planet.That's her story in a nutshell: an orphan who's trying to survive in a foreign planet when her home planet was blown to bits due to energy extraction mistakes her people made.
I'm not sure how being a feminist show and being an orphan correlate?
@@ItsATwinThingYT You're right, they probably don't correlate, unless, like in Kara's shoes, they refer to the same person... she's extremely assertive as a young woman (an excellent trait in a man's shoes to find in a woman: you can trust them if you have a failing to stand up to you if need be, thus defending you from yourself- how a man sees that kind of assertive woman), and also an orphan, or so she thinks of herself *at this time in her life*. She isn't really an orphan, but *believes* she is; due to her home planet exploding.
@@chissstardestroyer Being a surviving 'orphan' doesn't negate it from being feminist. It's feminist because the lead is female, it follows a strong female character the backstory doesn't dictate whether it's feminist or not.

"You are safe now..... Supergirl..." I loved, that Cat is somehow someone, who does not really care about things, but then she really does love kara like a daughter.... And it was fascinating, how fast she got behind karas secret. (I loved that moment, when karas deo boss went there as supergirl and when cat already got used to be a bit "broing" supergirls already. That moment, when Kara herself entered the office, with "Supergirl" standing there... How cats hands begun to get shaky like "oh my god I just broed supergirl....."
I love, how she also saw this insecure site of Supergirl like she saw it in Kara and even though Supergirl is as powerful as she is. Cat still went there and wanted to comfort her.

My best is currently at 1.6k likes with no dislikes but as it stands only 3 videos on my channel currently have 0 dislikes but that can change at any moment. 😂 But considering this is the oldest video out of them it's quite an accomplishment!

One question tho.. How the heck can you manage university and video editing at the same time?! Doesn't it take you long to make video edits? Cuz it surely takes me forever. So I don't even bother during university
Fan editing keeps me sane, pretty much. I don't know how I would deal without it. It's a nice stress reliever for me most of the time. Sometimes it makes me stressed but most of the time it's just really relaxing.
Plus, I study Film Production at University so it keeps me in relatively good practice. My studies are very practical, so it doesn't require a much studying as something else. I have a lot of deadlines coming up right now, but because there are two of us editing at a time it's a lot easier to get videos out. Especially when inspiration is flowing.
