Some translation apps use 'knitting' and 'crochet' interchangeably.
Alternatively, in some countries, their native word for "looping yarn" is translated as 'knitting'.
Much like 'knitting a bone' it simply means to bind together.

I waited so long thinking there would be some magic with those long threads. Oh dear what a waste. Our fancy thread like that is very pricey and to waste it is horrendous.
I was thinking some magic was going to happen with the looong threads, maybe crochet through and interweaving, maybe even macrame, but what a complete waste for such a little keyring.
