I built my own steam box today using a single sheet of foam board insulation from Lowe's. We shall see how it goes. My steamer is set to arrive tomorrow! Thanks for this video!
After you clean your windows. Have some fun bending some green wood and make something cool. Then fun just never stops !
Thank you Carrol !
Which Mccullough steamer is this?
I looked it up and is MC 1375
first time?
Wouldn’t the cobra be a better way to remove paint?
The Cobra is great for removing the paint, however, when removing the glazing compound, the Cobra may crack the glass , especially if there is more than a single pane of glass.
I used a heater and cracked the glass. I like this idea a lot better. This is mainly for putty, not paint.
Hey Jeff, it's good to see you are saving some windows. Try using a pull-type scraper, it goes a lot quicker: ruclips.net/video/VzqnEm24ajQ/видео.html
