Kuvempu's literary journey began with the publication of his first poetry collection, "Navillu" (The Cloud), in 1928. "Ramayana Darshanam," his monumental poetic rendering of the Indian epic Ramayana, showcased his mastery over the Kannada language and solidified his reputation as a literary luminary.
