  • The fastest freight train in the world was the Santa Fe's "Super C" all-piggyback train between Chicago and Los Angeles. We'll take the time machine to see it led by EMD FP45 #5942 and two F45's charging through Flagstaff, Arizona, in July 1972.
    All the buildings are scratchbuilt from photos and measurements of actual Flagstaff structures.

    To answer a couple questions - the Ponderosa Pines are Woodland Scenics armatures with dried goldenrod foliage added.

    @AlcoholicSemenStain - yes - those are Woodland Scenics pine tree armatures with dried and spray-painted goldenrod 'tufts' applied. The smaller distant trees are just trimmed goldenrod. Makes a fairly decent Ponderosa Pine.
