- We were one of the first to get our hands on the new case from Hyte: the Y70 Touch. If you're looking for a case with a touch screen and are considering modding one of your own (shout out to all the original Y60 LCD mods out there) - this may be an even better option for both functionality and implementation. We were impressed with this new gaming PC case from our friends at Hyte and break it down here in our latest build, review, and unboxing video.

Heads up, HYTE wanted to make sure folks are aware that games/applications minimizing from Y70 Touch screen interaction DO occur with certain titles and conditions:
"It's not ideal but our software team is actively working to fix the issue with Nexus Touch so that applications don't minimize with screen interaction. Transparency is important to us." - HYTE
We think it's cool they are taking ownership of the issue and working on making their software better.
i want this case but why haven't you made the option to allow us to mount are gpu cards in the traditional horizontal way if that was possible i would buy it

I have this case. I will NEVER buy another case! Amazing in every way,so easy to build in,screen is stunning and works flawlesly. More options than a pick and mix and everyone that has seen it are blown away. Thank you HYTE for doing what you do!

Top radiator adjustment. With it being on lowest setting, is there enough space to have more fans sit in there as well as having the top cover piece snap back into place? Utilize a push/pull option?
Are the wallpapers customizable like setting live wallpaper? Or need to stick to their app for theme and wallpaper?

What size fans will fit on the bottom?? Because I just got the case just unsure if more I will have two extra 140’s or will I need 2 120’s???
I have a space question. Is there enough room behind a the vertically mounted GPU to hide a SFF like the A2000 for additional display ports?
What AIO did you use cause im thinking of getting a artic liquid freezer II and replaceing the fans on it with lian li infinity sl fans but i dont know if u can
Aesthetic of the build here was great. As a Linux user I think I will go with the non touch version(y60). Great looking build, enjoyed it.
They make a non touch version of the y70 if you still want the bigger case.
I think i gonna take off my HP omen parts and put in this case 😂 but the upperside is open ? Dust can go easely in the case ?

Thank you! In the Y70 Touch, The screen is part of the glass itself, so it is not removable without removing the glass.

What did you have to do to fix the issue with the screen not working but controlling main monitor im having that issue 😭
Yeah, I was super confused that he mentioned it being an issue and said he had to call support but then didn’t actually share the fix so that everybody benefits.
Cant u connect the lcd to the onboard gpu of mb? I have 4 monitors already😂

why didn't you show the left side start on? are there any filters for the fans? you still can not add 2 Nvidia RTX4090 FE less somehow change the mounting plate - 4090 takes 3 slots each out of the box, Why didn't you show the back side were the HDD and PS go?

I wish they would have improved their heating issue with being limited to 120mm fansvup top, the Y60 was already a poor performer temp wise. Y80 maybe will fix this, here's hoping.
It does allow for 3x120mm or 2x140mm fans in the top. There is also a bit more room to add a rear fan. In the Y60, if you had a radiator and fans up top, the rear fan might not fit.
@@METAPCs Yes radiators was the only solution I saw one builder come up with also, there's still room for thermal improvement but Hyte still makes great looking cases. I'm hoping the upcoming NV9 next month allows for 140's through the entire build, crossed fingers.

This case, would looks great with an Asus ROG MB. Only compatible with Asus mb

It is Not, The Y70 Touch is a taller Case, and it would not fit in the Y60

What was the point of calling it a "build" video when the "build" is just a 2 minute highlight? There are only a handful of videos currently on RUclips about the Y70 touch, let alone detailed ones. I was hoping for a more in-depth look while building in the case.

it is cool what can i say......but its gotta be the biggest Gimick if i ever seen one... it sounds awesome on paper and as a conversation starter/showcase opportunity. But being practical? Whos gonna sit there on their pc with their hands on their mouse and keyboard focusing on the screen and be like "oh hey lets mess with my settings a bit, better turn my attention over to my pc case now." lol. Maybe it can be useful if monitors are on sleep and you want media playing.....other than that i think its a major distraction from the whole purpose of having a pc lol.

Saying they aren't including fans because people wil buy their own fans is such bs. The fans under the gpu are hidden, I'm sure people wouldn't choose to buy expensive lian li fans for aesthetics there, having included fans would only be a positive, and considering this case will probably cost twice the minimum wage when it launches here in Brazil, a couple of fans included woud be super appreciated, but oh well...
