Rip's Filson Short Lined Cruiser was obviously modified by the Costume Department, it's shorter than Filson's Original. You can clearly see that when you check the distance of the front buttons, which have all the same distance normally, on Rip's jacket the two lower buttons have a smaller distance than the others.
I wondered about Beth's coat; well, my wife did. I'm a huge Filson fan. wearing their double prong with a d ring belt daily. I have something for you to investigate. John always uses the same ceramic coffee cup. I have looked everywhere. I've found some that are similar, just not that one. In fact, he is holding it in your post here.

I recently talked to my 85 year old grandpa about Filson after i found he has 2 mackinaw vests. He said they would go to town on any given sunday and get a wool garment, just like everyone at the time, including his dad who always wore a filson coat. He said the prices were nothing to squawk at in those days, it was simply the only option, i assume similar to carhartt is today. i showed him current prices and he couldn't believe it
