Sharing this because I think the actual meaning to the song & the video are a lot cooler than any relationship dramas. This came directly from the director/editor of the video (he’s also done ALL of bad omens music videos since they started): “He’s basically an internet troll. We like the ‘signed in blood’ message so he’s hooked up to the type writer and everything he writes drains a little blood from him until he eventually runs out. There’s a quick shot in there if you pause you can see he’s just typing code. He’s naked for a few reasons; lack of identify, nothing to hide behind, vulnerable etc. The room full of mirrors is a nod to the fact that everything he says is really just a reflection of himself at the end of the day. Stuck in a cube, he’s got no where to go” - Orie McGuiness
& then this came from Noah when the album was released when he was asked to give a breakdown of each song: “Hypocrites and fools. Amassing anonymously and casting judgements at any given chance and claiming ownership to everything someone else is or has the potential to ever be just to feel better about their own meaningless lives and personalities. To a point you don’t even know who you are anymore because you’re so used to other people deciding it for you. They speak in tongues to appear as if they have something special and interesting that nobody else does. Seeking wealth through a made-up social currency, and the only way they can feel in control because they have none anywhere else in the real world. A simple but effective production supporting what is mostly a drum, guitar and bass driven instrumental, layered with a breakbeat, to give a sense of urgency, or the sensation of running. Running from the past, running from the future, running from the world.”
For me this one is really addictive, I don’t know how Bad Omens are doing it but Noah’s vocals leave me craving more and more and in the end I can’t stop listening to this album 🖤🖤🖤
This is my favourite bad omens song and my favourite song in general, this song is like an anti depressants to me because it’s so up beat and lifting and gets you in that fired up mood

Welp I'm checking these guys out!!!! I love the emo/punk vibe, yet semi Postmalone smooth vocals at times!!!! I'm hooked!!! Maybe similar to newish Bring Me the Horizon. Wonderful
Newest album definitely has a vibe when listening front to back that doesn't really come through the singles. Worth setting aside an hour and just let it play.

Another 🔥song by Bad Omens 🖤 Defintely, it's not their best, but it's really good. They really know how to right melodies and bring a nice balance to their songs.

There is absolutely something about his voice that is just addictive. I never get tired of listening to this band.
