Note: For Davis, there is sudden initial upliftment which is due to endogenetic force but once after initial upliftment there is action of exogenetic forces till river achieve base level.

Mam , In 16:56 , Isn't Piedmont treppen finally formed? Because primarumpf is the initial landscape at the beginning of aufsteigende i think. Pls correct me if i am wrong .
+Dhilip Kumar Treppe are broad terraces or steps which are result of continuous uplift of an enlarging dome mountain complex undergoing accelerated uplift. ‘Primarumpf is the landscape formed before upliftment. However Aufsteigende is the convex slope formed due to waxing erosion.

mam i hv a doubt this cycle of slope development is taking place in a particular region example for mountains its different for plateau area this is different ? i mean its mountain that with time becoming flat region ?
Madam, could you please explain the basic difference between a pedeplain and peneplain ?
+manu singh Pediplains and peneplains are a low-relief non-constructional plain which try to grade down to base level.
Peneplain was introduced by Davis while Pediplain was introduced by King.
Pediplains are usually found in arid and semi-arid areas.
Also down wasting (ensures convexity of slopes) lead to formation of peneplains while side wasting lead to formation of pediplains.

so penck's thry was basically corollory of kings parallel retreat model.
davis slope development was very simplistic downwasting along slopes limbs into valley and in stages.

what is difference between summits and peak ?
These are relative terms with no exact distinction, rather are more subjective in nature. However, peak is the top of the mountain while summit is the point higher that the surrounding mountains.
