Just returned from a pilgrimage to Lourdes on November 6, 2023. This video brings it all back. I need another trip there..! We were told we were not to take photos there. St. Bernadette, pray for us..! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Our priest celebrated Mass in the very small, Chapelle Saint Gabriel. The whole trip was miraculous. ❤❤❤❤❤
I went to Lourdes twice, in 2015 and in 2017. I'm still in awe at the surreal memories I lived through. This was one of the best times of my life. I am hoping that I can go back again.
For us also, a lot of memories in this place.
Are you ill? Aren't you just supposed to go there if you are ill?
@@tamcocar3507U don't have to be ill to go to any pilgrimage site. All u need is a faith as small as a mustard seed .
I have been to Lourdes 8 times and as long as my health permits Lourdes is the only place to go
@@tamcocar3507 the journey is long so it helps if you are healthy to make that long tiresome journey to visit Mary and ask for her help and blessings. Being ill is no pre requisite. Lourdes is very special and it is lovely being able to spend time there.
I have been travelling to Lourdes for 51 years and it is mh second home ❤

Wonderful experience at Lourdes
I went to Lourdes 45 years ago. My mother took me & my sisters there. It was a wonderful experience. We went to see St Bernadette in her glass casket. How beautiful she is. Something I will never forget. Hope one day to go back. Thank you for the memories of Lourdes and Nevers.

Hello I plan to go there in September. Hopefully, its not going to rain. Does buying candles have options? I dont want to pay cc if I am only buying candles to light for praying. I would rather pay cash. Thanks for sharing your video.
You're welcome. There are many shops around or outside the basilica. They are selling candles there and you can pay cash or card. There are also candles inside.

Ur welcome. We were there for a few days. We had no group. There are hotels which are near the basilica like hotel sainte marie which we saw everytime there and around it ther r hotels also just walking distance. ⚘ i dont know saint marie, i just saw it while passing by. You may check online about their offers that will suit your family. 🌷

Hello. That is paying. But not so expensive. It has a few stops where you can get on or off for the whole day. Like to visit the was museum. The cable lift for going to the top of the mountain pic du jer.
Has anyone noticed that the niche was that high up. I thought Bernadette kissed her feet how could she reach she was approx 4.11 no way could she reach that height. It may be for catholics but Mary was a Jew so was Christ. I may pop over to look at this as a fellow Jew.

Hi. On phone is ok. But on tv, pls turn off 5.1 surround system. Stereo sound is good
We have noticed this also. It's a known problem on RUclips when you watch at 5.1 audio. If you change it to 2.0 in the audio settings of this file while playing. It wil resolve the issue. We have fixed this issue on our newer video's. Hopefully this was helpful.

Yes u can buy bottles from stores outside or bring ur own and collect water for free and bring home.
