You could use armor stand if you need to kill to activate and hide the armor stand then tp in front of you repeat then summon the armor stand it will activate if you want to do it again if you kill the armor stand

Ty bro the first time I tried it didn’t work bc I forgot the G from lightning when I added it and killed a pig lightning struck and uhm kicked me off minecraft LOL
The way you set this up is not very good. Instead of targeting the specific item you want to use for lightning, you targeted every entity that is not the player and made every item you drop turn into lightning. I actually uploaded a video like this a year ago so I'd suggest checking that out.

No its not posible but you can use ^^^3 or a diferent number other than 3 to make it summon lightning at a certain location the player is looking at
