Thank you so much for such a great step by step video. I will be referring to this often. I just bought 3 of these books. I've never done anything like this before. I'm using a sports theme for my grandkids and this video will be most helpful. This will be my 1st scrapbook adventure.
Beautifully done. On mine, I made on the pocket page a frame with acetate for slide in pictures. I glued the cutout center if the frame behind the frame so it's consistent when no picture is inserted and looks like one piece
Beautiful, love watching you create. Thank you for sharing your talent and technics! Of course the gorgeous paper makes it so easy to design and co-ordinate! I have an addiction to Graphic 45 and have been collecting their collections for years. The problem I have is choosing which side of the paper I want to use and actually cutting into the gorgeous paper. Super gift!
I agree. It does make things so much easier when you don't have to "build" your own album. Once these are available to the public, I'm sure you'll be seeing lots more of these albums. Thanks for watching, Deb.
I love your videos! I always feel like I am back in one of your classes. I loved that you added color to a bird that needed a little more to fit in with the rest. I enjoyed seeing you use your craft blade to cut out fine details. I appreciated seeing you add the small strips of pattern paper on the top and bottom of the back waterfall, it would have looked unfinished otherwise, but I would not have had the courage do do that on my own. Quality and attention to detail with great beauty as always!
Aw, Reta, you’re the best! Thanks so much. I feel like I’m with my crafty people when I make these videos. It means so much to me all the kind words you said here. Thanks so much. ❤️
Thanks Vera. Sorry for my delayed reply here. The video is here forever, so feel free to come back and watch so you don't have to remember everything in your head. :)
Awesome! To be honest, I wasn't sure I loved it myself at first, but now I really do! Sometimes it just takes making a project to make that connection.
@@AnnetteGreen Yes! I had decided not to get it but now...I think I need it! I just want to be able to use all these beautiful papers before I DIE!! I'd better get busy!
What a pretty project! I was waffling about buying this paper but after watching your project I think I have to make it! TFS, I learned many tips from watching you.
Great tips on fussy cutting! I actually find those finger-tip Xacto blade holders easier for me to use then a standard Xacto holder, it does take a little while to get used to. Loved how this album turned out, so gorgeous!
Some people really like that style of Xacto. I've never tried it, but the design makes sense to me. I'm glad you found my tips helpful and that you liked the album. Thanks for watching!
@@AnnetteGreen Eeek! I got super lucky, and was able to purchase a set of Fiskars Teresa Collins scissors. You're right, they are hard to find- I found mine on ebay and was lucky to get mine new still in its packaging. I'm so glad you showed them to us. I've been looking for a die or tool to simulate the edge of a postage stamp for awhile now and have tired several things and nothing came close to what I wanted. In your video though, your postage stamps look perfect! I cannot wait to get these scissors and I love the fact that there's two different sizes! Thanks so much!
Why am I seeing this comment so late? Sorry about that. I continue to make things like this at random, so keep an eye out. I'm actually working on two different things right now.
Thank you very much; especially tips for fussy cutting are very helpful. Coloring the bird was also a great idea. There are two things I didn't like; it's not yours but maker's "mistake". The pocket on the left cover should be lower. I don't know how it is, maybe you could attach a thin strip of pattern paper under it so that the pattern paper at the bottom of all three pages is at the same line. But maybe there is no space. I always make pockets at the page edges. Another think that bothers me is a size of waterfall flaps and their ephemera cards. The maker should think about that. You are excellent and I complain about the maker. The paper designer should think also about sizes. Graphic 45 also make templates for tags etc on the inner side of pads' covers but I can't use them because the design is upside down. I wish they don't think only about the design but also a usage of the paper. Thank you again. You did wonderful job! Just one thing more regarding the magnet closure on waterfall. I always fill the waterfall with photos and then attach magnets otherwise it doesn't work well.
Hi Mariani and thank you! I'm happy you found my tips helpful. I also noticed that left side pocket sits a little high and thought about adding a strip of paper along the bottom. You are clever to have picked up on that. And I've often wished those tag templates were positioned so the print side worked better too. But I feel like Graphic 45 papers are so pretty, it doesn't matter than much to me in the end. Thanks for your helpful comment and for watching. Have a great day.
@@AnnetteGreen , thank YOU. You are right. I love their paper and buy most of them even I sometimes think colors are too loud. Somebody must tell them. It is better to tell own opinion than to go away. Everybody prefers good comments but we learn a lot from "bad" comments. Wishing you a nice day, too.
I just picked up this monthly kit today & after looking through it, thought I'd use a different line also. However, as much as I like Graphics 45, I'm gonna use Mintay.
Hi Linda, thank you so much. Yes, I believe I mentioned that I was selling both of these albums. They sold out right away. I often sell my handmade albums, so keep watch here on my RUclips channel for the announcements, and also you may want to "favorite" my Etsy shop so you get notifications when things go up for sale there. Thanks for watching!
I am just starting out at doing paper crafting. I just finished my first journal, so I like tutorials that show me everything!! I need all the help I can get.

Thanks so much Cheryl. It was fun to swap out the papers and try something different. Thanks for watching. 😊

Thank you so much Ava. That’s very nice to hear. I always hope my methods come across as helpful. Thanks for watching.
