The craft paper looks perfect with this paper collection. I love this so much, I’m going to give it a try. The ivory layer looks great, it makes the album feel brighter, and the colors really pop. Personally, I would use the color layers and mat the ivory leaving maybe 1/2” border. If you’re using 65# cardstock it shouldn’t be too bulky. Maybe use the color or pattern papers to make pockets in the waterfall, make tuck in mats for journaling from ivory matted with solid color. You can find many opportunities to add a little solid color or pattern scraps, such as the corner tuck spots on all four corners, or diagonal on the mats. Sorry if I went overboard, I’m in the process of making an album for a dear friend so my brain is overloaded with ideas right now.Thanks for the inspiration, the album is absolutely beautiful!♥️🙏🏻
I really like the cream on the first waterfall especially as it shows off that image so well but do like the colors on the second waterfall as it balances out the heavy looking colors on the far left side.

Love this paper. Baby days are faaaaaaaaar behind me though, even grandkids :( Well, my opinion -- I love the colored paper on the waterfalls. However, I've started leaving them plain cardstock in the albums I make for myself -- the PP adds so much bulk, then more bulk with the photos. It also allows me room to adjust the size of my photos a bit. Sometimes I might use a 3 x 4 or 4 x 4 and add pieces of PP to fill in. Sometimes the photo takes all the room. Sigh, I'm just funny that way. I guess it depends on personal choice. It's beautiful either way. Happy vacation!

I was just reorganizing mine and admiring it today and was horrified to find I barely have any of the circus collection 😢😢. Good on you for getting a few for April fool's lol. I got my bro BAD. Gorgeous album! It needs the colored papers for sure. I agree if you had the first section more neutral than you could go cream but without the color it just blends all together and is too plain. If that makes sense. Love love love that paper collection! 💜

Sometimes I think simple and plain is best but the colors are so soft I also love the color waterfalls ... I would say go with the colors since you used the pink on the inside cover and page ... If it was green, I would definitely have gone with the neutral.

I like the waterfalls with the colors, but the ivory looks nice too! It's hard to pick a favorite! I think I would add a band of color on the closures of the waterfalls with the ivory flaps, just so you have a little color to enhance the designer papers!
I totally agree, I was going to add pattern paper to the closures but the book was already so full so I decided to leave them off. I need more room with all my matting lol

Either way works on the waterfall, without the colored paper it leaves less bulk cause you still need to add pics right! The other thing I would do and this is just my opinion, I would add a mat to the last page to cover the 1/2 inch attachment, I know a lot are not bothered by it and that's ok, but that's what I would do. The album is gorgeous, that paper is amazing! Glad you're on vacation and have some down time. We are home from AZ and I am going to spend a lot of time in my craft room!!! Thanks for sharing!
