    The sad part of watching this is knowing there’s a desperate driver that will work all these BAD orders. This allows companies to keep this foolishness going 🤦🏽‍♀️ no regards whatsoever for not only our time but our vehicles‼️ I’m finding a job now because the companies don’t care and the people we serve are ungrateful.

      @@thomasautonomousanonymous2050 That's true that some of these orders would be better if I was closer. But unfortunately they don't ping me at a decent distance. Everything's always offered at a loss somehow where you're gonna do more work and get paid less.

    $4.31 for a 15.1 mile delivery, "including expected tip"??? 14.7 miles, 31 minutes for $6??? The app is on drugs. As badly as I need the money I haven't started either app since last weekend. ZERO surge, no quests in 3 weeks, and I'm making 25% of what I was making 3 months ago. I spend most of the night parked, declining garbage as bad or worse than this. I'm lucky if most of the rides are 30 to 50 cents a mile, I'm not driving for that BS. The IRS says it costs you 65.5 cents a mile to drive your car for business, why would you lose money driving for less than that??? Dara is a thief who needs to be locked up.

    • @demonznhellcatz8502
      @demonznhellcatz8502  9 месяцев назад

      I 100% agree with you. My app shows the same crappy orders everyday just like how it shows you. On some nights it's so slow, you'd think the app is broken or something. We used to be able to make money with Uber and DoorDash as profits, but now we're basically forced to make money at a loss. A business isn't sustainable when you make money at a loss because you're expenses need to be covered, plus you're gonna need money for everyday life which will be covered by profits. It's a really sad system that's being promoted by these thieving companies.

And as gig workers, we don't get paid overtime so the longer we're out doesn't mean the more money we'll "hypothetically" make.

There's supposed to be another protest on April 1st also but this isn't going to be the last of it. @@Americassweetheart3 I be saying this in my video every time that I be working 10-12 hours a day and sometimes more just to make what I need to make.
      You said you drove 7 hours to make $107. That means you'll have to do another 7 hours to make another $100 dollars. That would literally put you in the same driving category as me with working 10-12 hours but that would add up to 14 for you. My point is that on the apps, they'll make you work longer and you'll continue to make less and less. The apps want to get rid of us drivers.
      In order for us to now fight back for our money, we have to convert rides to our on prices because as I said before we're independent contractors. We have the legal right to decline and then counter-offer on the trip/contract.
      This is literally the only way we're going to make it if we keep working in this industry.
      Trust me, I know what you're feeling with how much work you're putting in and the little outcome that it's given. I hope that everything gets better for you and that money does find a way to pay all of us abundantly!

Some of those orders are nice, if we didn’t have to wait in lines. I notice if a customer tips $5, they’ll pull a driver that’s 7miles away instead of the drivers that’s the closet, so they can operate at $1 a mile. They’re so grimy.

When it's busy like how I showed in the video, the lines are usually wrapped around the building and the wait times are pretty bad even waiting on the inside (if they're even open). With the prices that they're paying, it's still not worth it because you'll waiting inside for like 10-15 mins and probably have to drive another 8-10 mins all for $6. That doesn't even make sense to me because in an hour, you'll probably max at $18-$20 if you're lucky (which is really hard for me any day as you can see).

Its been well documented how he cut the drivers pay by like 40% since he took over. Also the uber algorithm is truly bias. The AR is the problem. Someone else is getting the $3-$10 a mile orders. What I noticed is that when the rating system changed from the amount of lifetime rides you accept and now that it's out of the last 100 rides, I've noticed that pay has steadily decreased. Dont wait more than 1 1/2 minutes , Leave and cancel.
    Traffic means add at least $1 a mile extra
    Dont do long trips in traffic ever ,more than 10 miles .
    Dont take people to events ,if you want to pick up from events wait outside and ask for cash money 💰 $20 to pick up and $2 a mile

    Also markets all over the country is over saturated with drivers I think. I try getting at least a $1 a mile if possible here in Philly (Uber). Also not getting those premiere rides too often even if in surge area. I can sit for half-hour in surge spot and not get a single request but as soon as I switch to UberX request are start to come. Used to care about AR but not anymore. Lyft even worse for me. That's why I don't drive for Lyft cause their pay is even worse than Uber, at least for me personally. Half a year ago was making roughly $19 to about $22 an hour, now its more like $11 to $14 (Uber)

      Where I am illegal aliens are renting people's Uber & Lyft accounts, or in some cases stealing them or making them with other people's information. They'll work for a lot less than you or I would accept, of course they have no drivers license, insurance and in most cases they're running fake temporary license plates. Their cars are barely rebuilt salvage vehicles, not even road legal or safe. Uber & Lyft know what's going on, they don't care since it allows them to pay crap and make a much better profit. The riders are the ones who suffer. Ask your riders about some of the horrible drivers and cars they've had, some of the stories will freak you out. Sitting on piles of nasty clothes, rotting food on the floor, drivers who don't speak english, overpowering odor of weed in the car, drivers demanding gas money during a ride, I've heard some stories.

    • @demonznhellcatz8502
      @demonznhellcatz8502  9 месяцев назад

      From what I remember, Lyft was always the lower paying platform not because they used to not pay but their market share was never as big as Uber so they were usually behind the ball. Whenever there's surge for me, 2 things happen. It'll be that I don't get a ride/offer for long periods of time or they'll spam me with rates that are lower than a base fare for the offer. There's no real win when it comes to surge so I don't even get excited anymore because they're stealing the fare and replacing it with an amount and calling it a bonus. Surge used to get you money but now surge is a cash grab for Uber and Lyft and they're gouging the hell outta the customers.

    Good drivers that are earners are hard to find. Customers are complaining. Many of their friends and relatives are Uber drivers themselves. They understand how the robotic system is impacting negatively, consumers and drivers across the nation. Technology can be great but not everything can be animated
    Customer support has their hands tied up. They are not allowed to intercede, favoring the driver against the system that is cutting down the revenue. Soon the ripple effect will impact customer support workers as well. a very sad thing to see.

I pay for Spotify premium just so they can choose what ever song without ads and have never had a problem except for that 1 passenger. I've taken hundreds of passengers in my car and only 1 complains about the music but I'm like I literally just asked you was there anything you want to listen to. You can't please everyone though🤷🏾‍♂️. If that $21.50 required me to go 30+ miles, I'm not taking it. While it's a win on the 30 min timeframe, it's a loss in miles and I look at the whole picture. If we were in better times, I generally wouldn't mind taking the loss because it would be supplemented by tips which is the lifeline of our type of work. My conversations are usually very open minded so if we get on the topic of how much I'm getting payed for the ride, I will tell the truth and let the passenger know. They still tip me even though I let them know that Uber is charging the hell outta them because those types of customers respect service workers. I don't like breaking the news to the customer that they're getting jipped but I'm an honest person and if I get rewarded for it then it is what it is. I haven't gotten into trades because a lot of them don't interest me, even though they supposedly pay really good I still need to find something that I would really put my efforts into. I honestly love driving my car and I feel like I'm in the right industry but right now it's chewing me up and spitting right back out. It's the same for a lot of people. I'm still searching for new avenues to make money and I'm seeing that my new outlet is Walmart Spark. I want to transition into the other type of work that I did which is being a contractor for a logistics company/medical courier company but they're hard to find or don't pay much. It's a really hard industry and everywhere I look, it seems that wages are being cut lower and lower. It's pretty sad.

      @@jforbes1236 Trust and believe that I know exactly how you feel!! That's why I say there's a certain price that I take orders at because the wait times will kill you!! $1 a mile doesn't cut it, we need $2+ a mile to consider this stuff because of the different variables we have. So I definitely know!!

      I'm telling you!! The wage gouging is happening everywhere!! It affects some of us more than others but it's no secret that they're gouging us all. I definitely didn't think it was gonna get this bad but I guess it is what it is. There's little to no tips on food delivery and definitely no tips on rides so a lot of us are driving for just what we can get that makes sense for profitability.

      Whatever they're doing at Uber and DoorDash headquarters is really plaguing every market with this shit! It can't be a coincidence that everyone is having a hard time in every market and experiencing the same exact problems. This is all calculated sabotage.

      I'm telling you!! The weekends be worse than the weekdays. How does that even work?! My expectations for weekends are so low that I have higher expectations for a slow ass Wednesday. And Wednesday's for me are always slow as hell!

      I've heard alot about the Cali market and this is really bad, especially for how expensive it is out there. We are literally working with a company that's actively extorting us in real time. Don't you find it interesting that it's somehow happening in every market?
