The one thing that made Recoome special was that he seemed like an unstoppable tank, so of course they want to keep the spirit of his character by making him durable His performance was awesome. To deny his players that fantasy would just be half-assed and lame
I've been grinding single battles ranked and the struggle is real... too many frauds who should not have climbed so high in ranked... A whole lot of wild sense spam, insta spark, passive playstyle (not engaging... waiting for to close in as they spam ki blasts and perception)...
vegeta SS4 should costs 7 so you can put the two ss4 directly on a dp team... also vegeta do not costs 8 at all, his skills suck, also you can't transform him so you must use 8 points for him, its a character full of bad decisions.
Typically, that's when people lag switch or some people use tools I believe. I can vanish and z-counters almost perfectly. But against two ppl, one I confirmed lag switches, I get one out of every 10 attempts. And only win the match is no longer winnable.
A RUclipsr named Alwuhu said something about this. He thinks there is a vanish bug for specific battles. Idk if it's based on the characters used or the mode.
Would be cool if you could play as Whis after dec 27 - pretty unorthodox character. BUT PLEASE, IF YOU DO SO - CHECK AT LEAST ONE SHORT TUTORIAL VIDEO ABOUT HIM!
Just gotta get better at vanishing. I, personally, don't block at all since bt3; has my vanishing nearly perfect,save lag switchers and poor connection. One thing I hate is the rush vanish because I dodge an attack, they can punch air and press vanish to get behind me. That is supposed to only work when u are landing a combo; not if you whiff. That and the rush tracking with power body; they just mindlessly press attack button and punish u for countering them; makes no sense. But that's more about ppl abusing mechanics than it is game design. No game will be perfect and there will always be ppl that exploit things. However, that gives you more opportunities to see it and, therefore, develop a way to counter it or use it to your advantage.
@alphonsobrooks1771 for me it's definitely a skill issue, and since beams are slower it throws off my timing now since for the last month they've been fast as hell, but I still just can't get behind unblockable supers that only cost a couple bars of ki rather than going through the power surge of charging ki
When you're in Sparking Mode, the more times you hit an opponent within a single combo, the less damage future hits in that combo will do. Because he hit the opponent too many times, his super attack's damage got "scaled down" and it did far less damage than normal. If he had used it sooner, it would have dealt normal or close to normal damage and as a result, the combo probably would have dealt more damage overall. It's called scaling instead of just damage reduction because the damage is usually reduced by a percentage and the percent they take out of you gets bigger and bigger the longer the combo gets. So the damage reduction "scales" with the length of the combo. 👍 EDIT: This type of mechanic appears in alot of other fighting or combo based battle games too, so the term isn't just a Sparking Zero thing. The mechanic serves to help prevent people who are entirely too good at abusing the combo system from completely blowing an opponent out of the water without them ever getting to fight back. Usually in games where they want the combat to last long but the combos sometimes get so outrageous that games can consistently end far sooner than desired if the combos don't scale down. Also, scaling up is a thing too but that's kinda rare in pvp games 😅
Recoome def shouldnt have more health and defense than charcaters that are way stronger than him canonically. Same goes for Nappa with his health. Like why?? Why does Nappa have more health than SS4 Goku?? I love how characters in this game vary in strength so much but these ones dont even make sense.

it is much better than before. Also wild sense is easily baitable
@@akn3103 I bait it 24/7 but the issue is that it is available 24/7... Then after all that wasted ki to bait and punish it, you get super countered.

Agrin every character has armour when in sparking from 1-3 normal attacks
What does powering down at the end do?
He gains a bit of health back, look at his health bar when he powered down, useful when the match is about to time out
It’s a glitch currently in the game in dp battles when the timer pops up for some reason any transformation or swap fully regenerates characters

I HATE DP battles after patch and also in general. All it is, is losers trying to win by time out instead of actually playing the game.
