Huskies are built for this type of high activity, most the time they get anxious living a more 'normal' dog life due to the amount of energy they have till later years. Huskies also have a dense double layer coat built for the weather up here in Alaska. They are not left out 24/7 and running is not the only thing they do. They are not abused or unhappy. Also, as pointed out by others, the small box they were in to keep warm had an open door to go in an out of. Just pointing it out there...

Going dog sledding is pretty much the greatest thing ever. I've done it as a program with my school and really love how much the dogs love it. If anyone is upset about the treatment of these animals you should see them doing it. It gives the dogs a purpose and I've never seen dogs more happy.

Ok, nobody hate me but I only find some of Grace's stuff laugh out loud funny. I find all of her stuff humorous but I do not always find myself smiling from ear to ear giggling and laughing. This series is amazing. You two together make it perfection. I really hope that after this series is over there will be more duos together. :)

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for coming on a tour with Ididaride! It was a great pleasure getting to lead your tour and show you our puppies ;)
Also, as a note to those who says it's cruel to keep puppies in a little box like that, it's a dog house connected to a kennel so they can run around, they just prefer to sleep in a giant puppy pile in their house. Secondly, if the dogs didn't want to run, you wouldn't see them running. If you think dog mushing is cruel, I invite you to come on a tour with us and I'll show you how much our dogs love to run, and how much attention they get every day :) And check out my videos of my sled dogs, you'll see how well they get treated.
