It's really inexcusable how badly they messed up The Simpsons games back in the day. The only good one was the arcade game and that never even got a home port back in the day.
***** Yeah which is a shitty thing to do to kids and gamers in general. I wanted to like the NES Simpsons games so much because of the cool covers and being a big fan of the show but it was bait and switch since the games were shit.
***** The only interesting thing in Bart vs. The Space Mutants, is that you have to crank call Moe's Tavern. Fortunately, the game randomized the joke names.
***** Sometimes I could do that, and other times I couldn't in the NES days. I got better at it when the Genesis came out.

The only "The Simpsons" game I've ever really liked was Hit & Run, it was pretty fun.
I haven't played the game yet, but I did hear some good things about it.
SpeedyEric1 I'd highly recommend it. It's sort of like Grand Theft Auto, except set in the Simpsons universe, and not as violent.
The arcade beat em up was a blast to play, sucks it never got ported and we got this crap instead.

That's deep for an eight year old.
On the part with Maggie, you can climb up the black pole just behind Maggie to get back on the ship. But it's so meshed into the background, you would have no idea unless it happens by accident like it did with me.
Also, collecting the "special" Krusty items just gets you a shitty bonus level where you jump around in various TV show sets. It's not really worth all the effort.

Bart this Bart that. Why the fuck is it Bart? Normally The Simpsons is all about Homer for some shit reason. Simpsons Hit n Run was the only "good", or shall I say "decent" Simpsons game.

It used to be all about Bart in the beginning. Back in the days of "Do the Bartman".
Then Homer started taking the spotlight.
When the simposons first began, it was all about Bart. They marketed the shit out of it, with Bart as the lead character. I had the games, sticker books, calenders. But Homer gained in popularity as the years went by.
Have you played the original arcade game by Konami? It's a really solid beat-em-up that doesn't just focus on one character. I recommend trying it.
The original arcade, The Simpsons Game, and Tapped Out are all good games

Well it seems to be losing its popularity for quite some time now. Death Battle is now a part of Rooster Teeth, and AVGN doesn't seem to be with ScrewAttack anymore since it's logo doesn't appear. It's now just seems to be Cinemassacre entirely.
