Let me know if I missed anyone or if anybody should be added to the list!
Wow! I was like 13 years old when this song came out, can still remember listening to it on my old Elgin clock/radio/alarm! LOL Thanks man, great memories!
I was 9 when this came out, and I hadn't heard anything quite like it. A very unique song, with an important message. Thanks for all you do! ✌️❤️🤟🥁
As soon as I saw this I knew JJ was going to like it and be intrigued by it. It definitely is an interesting subject matter. One of the great one hit wonders.
It's quite the one hit wonder, in the sense that you only have to hear it once & it sticks with you.
the beginning of the end my friend ! (world)
The arrangement is so sixties -- the Flamenco trumpet, the acoustic guitar stomp, the horn section accents, the shimmering violins. So called "test tube" babies were twenty odd years into the future give or take when this song came out. For a few songs with a similar sonic vibes from back then, check out Neil Diamond "Solitary Man", Love "Alone Again Or", Mason Williams "Classical Gas", Barry McGuire "Eve Of Destruction", or perhaps the souped up version of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence".
1969 banger
'69 may have had the most bangers of ANY year in it.
Wow this was song was really cool. I really enjoyed it.
RIP Rick Evans.
Old AM radio classic
Great song excavation! WARNING ⚠️
Listen with hearing ears only! 💛👍 Great reaction.
👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾💃🏽🎼🎶🎵🤗
"But through eternal night, the twinkling of starlight, so very far away, maybe it's only yesterday." BOOM -- maybe this all already happened, and we came back from total destruction, just to repeat the cycle again. Chilling.
Judging by the song, we are currently in the year 7510.
Love seeing reactions to this song.
Yo love this
And yet here we all are today...what are we doing? Shawn! Ummm! Great song...loved your thoughts on it, JJ❣️
👌🏽
I always thought the "In the year 2000" sketches on Conan O'Brien were a parody of this.
It's so fantastic when a reactor does the research first 😊 enjoyed you and you should see the video, which consists of clips from a silent German film called "Metropolis"
I just ran into your channel and subscribed because I liked your reaction to 2525. But more than that, I love hearing your voice! So unique never heard anyone with a voice like yours.
I appreciate that!
Awesome request CT!
👌🏽
Your voice is so calm and passive.
